Prompts:
Hi! What do you think about aftercare with James Barnes? How him and a reader would take care of each other? Thanks. 🎈🎈🎈
heyyy so maybe bucky barnes x reader when reader is comforting him after one of his nightmares? ty
You were sound asleep when you felt a jolt next to you, waking you up instantly.
"Bucky? Baby, what is it?"
You ask him through the darkness, feeling the sweat on his skin.
He clings to you, almost like he is holding on for dear life, terrified that if he lets you go, the nightmare that was plaguing him would come back.
"It's ok baby, you're safe. You're home. Everything is ok."
You comfort him.
He doesn't speak but his shaking hands and pounding heart tell you everything he is thinking and feeling.
"What was your dream about? Do you want to talk about it?"
You ask him, knowing he won't want to, he never does.
He shakes his head and reaches up for your face, caressing it lightly before pulling you in for a kiss.
It starts out slow and sweet, building as the seconds tick by until he pins you down onto the mattress with his metal arm, pulling at your pajamas with his other.
He was rough, taking out the fears of his nightmare on your body, bringing his mind back to focus by the end.
You, as usual, didn't mind the roughness, it actually turned you on a bit but it did leave marks. Marks that Bucky hated.
When all was said and done, he lays his head on your chest and you run your finger through his hair.
"Are you ok now?"
He nods slightly then looks up.
"Are you?"
Even through the darkness you can tell he is hating himself for how rough he was with you.
"I'm fine baby."
You try to assure him but you know he doesn't believe you.
He gets up and makes his way to the bathroom, turning on the water to the tub.
You sit on the bed, waiting for him to come back, only wanting to be in his arms.
Bucky comes back to the bed a few minutes later, picking you up easily in his arms and carrying you to the bathroom, carefully placing you into the bathtub before climbing in himself.
You lay back against his chest, letting the warm water take over the soreness you feel from before.
"I'm so sorry."
He says, looking at the deep markings on your skin that are only getting darker with time.
"It's just a mark Bucky. It will go away."
He leans down and kisses the spot on your shoulder, careful to not add any extra pain.
"It was about you."
You sit in silence for what seems like forever until Bucky finally begins to talk again.
"What?"
You ask him, turning to see his face.
"My nightmare. It was about you. Hydra came. They wanted me back. They ripped you from my arms and killed you."
You could almost see the dream replaying in his head as he spoke.
"Baby, that is never going to happen. You would never let them hurt me. You would never let anyone hurt me."
You take his face in your hands.
"I hurt you."
He says quietly, looking again at the marks on your skin.
"No. Buck, listen to me. You did not hurt me. If you ever got too rough, I would tell you. You know that."
You sigh, knowing you aren't getting through to him.
"James, look at me."
He finally looks up into your eyes.
"You couldn't hurt me."
"But I could. You know what I am capable of."
You shake your head.
"Not when it comes to me. You take care of me. You protect me. You love me. That's why you could never hurt me."
You turn back and lay against his chest again.
"Everything is ok. I am ok. We are ok. Hydra is not coming for you. They are not going to kill me."
You stroke his arm that is around your waist as you talk to him, feeling him calm as you continue.
"You are not theirs anymore. They do not own your mind. You do. You are no longer the winter soldier. You are James Bucky Barnes."
He takes a deep breath and repeats what you just said word for word.
"How do you always do that?"
Bucky asks a while later.
"Do what?"
"Bring me back from the brink."
You smile a little.
"Because, I take care of you and you take care of me. It's what we both signed up for, pal."
Bucky chuckles a bit.
"And I'd do it again in a heartbeat, doll. Every single time."
No one can convince me that this doesn't look like reylo in labour 😂
Whilst Rey is fighting for her life , it feels like Ben just giving up
The way that i was shipping Otis and Ruby as a joke when the trailer dropped and then they turn out to actually be cute AND better than Otis and Maeve when show dropped…their power
I recently found out a 25 year old Asian girl called Michelle Leng was raped, recorded and murdered.
While in Australia she visited her aunt and uncle, one day her uncle (Derek Barrett) set up two cameras to capture her rape, she was tied up with duct tape until her writes turned purple Barrett also gagged Michelle during the process. While she was naked and bound he also took pictures of her face and genitalia.
After he raped her he tourtured her and stabbed her 40 times all over her body while the cameras were rolling then he dumped her body at snapper point. Barrett saved the USB containing 9 videos of the rape. Her grand mother passed shortly after she saw the videos, she was healthy prior to Michelle’s death, it is believed that she passed away from sadness and shock. Her father passed several years before leaving her mother alone now. Asians are being fetishised in the most disgusting way, please stop, it’s not funny and it is very scary for a lot of people.
I am Asian and I think I speak for a lot of people when I say I am really scared. Although I don’t speak for everyone I hope that more people can spread awareness on this.

Maybe you’ve seen this book around. CARVE THE MARK is the new book by Veronica Roth, author of DIVERGENT, and extremely racist. For weeks now people of color have been speaking up about this. x x It features extremely racist portrayals of black-coded people as savage aggressors. But time and time again youll notice white people on social media who say they’ll check for themselves instead of listening to POC.
This time it happens to be an author who has their history of writing racist books x x x x x
I think you guys are smart enough to understand that as a white man, there is no way he’d be able to do that.
This thread explains the consequences of this behavior quite nicely
CALL. PEOPLE. OUT. ON. THEIR. RACISM.
