Well, I can officially say that after 5 months and too many setbacks, Philosophy of a Knife will finally be updated with chapter 16. I'm very excited to share it with you all, and I already have plans for the next chapter, so it definitely will not take another half-year to update. On a side note, this year I will almost definitely pass half a million words logged on ao3, and that is very cool to me.
This chapter goes out to all the commenters on ch15 whose kinds words encouraged me to buckle down, as well as @loveless-beloved-must-be-loved who I randomly came across reccing it in a tumblr post out in the wild recently, which really helped me get back on track. I love all my readers!

where's the fun in things you specifically do for fun if you can't be extremely self-indulgent at least once?
i love the idea of sabo and law running into each other repeatedly during the timeskip, especially if it's during one of sabo's missions. i want this boy to be silly and have fun so he can ignore the pain that's corroding him from the inside even more than usual, and who would be a better partner-in-crime than trafalgar law himself?
p.s. this was supposed to be kiiind of a "parallel" to day 4 (same but opposite composition, the contrast between teen sabo and ya sabo, etc) but i don't think any person outside of my own self would get it. i'm just too stupid

Somethings are off! This is pretty much a ‘proof of concept’ so it is very wonky. When Haru is climbing on windows or crawling upside down there will be a gap! So if you see it, yes i know that it’s there, don’t worry about it. Also the ‘split into two’ action is a bit janky in its animation so if it looks off, again sorry about that. (plus some frames look odd)
But don’t fret, this is a version 1.0! Though probably not now, I am planning on updating this and fixing the bugs. This isn’t my fully realized version of my Haru Shimeji, I have a couple of things I want to add and obviously fix before I call it finished, BUT I wanted to have this beta out so you guys can enjoy. When I was testing it out, I was having a lot of fun so I hope you guys can also have some fun!0
