i think it’d be really cool if the King in Yellow looked like one of those giant puppets they use in stage plays. the ones that have very obvious visible puppeteers moving them, but still seem so alive. i imagine that the main body seems to be controlled by the dancers, but the tentacles move on their own.

malevolent is great bc john and arthur say exactly what they’re thinking and feeling all the time and still manage to miscommunicate <3

Was just listening to some guy speaking about some analog horror and then I heard him say "Kayne-" and I swear to god I never flipped my head so quickly before

what if when john gets himself a body, arthur stays blind but john’s voice still can’t be heard by others except for arthur, basically making him a mute.

and they become private eyes

like, from an outsider’s pov:

There are these two private detectives, right? But one is this huge man who’s mute and the other one is blind. When the two are working on a case, the big guy collects evidence, and somehow the blind guy just. knows what the other one wants to say.

the big guy does the muscle work and guides the blind guy and the blind guy does most of the deducting.

idk this concept felt so scrumptious in my head.
