Don't know when I took this, but it makes me look like I've been up to something cool so I'm sharing it.
Saw @bandcalledfuse live the other day, this is just a small portion of a panorama I took (I've got to blur people's faces out before I share the full one). (at littlefield)

Reposting this late because why not?
BrandUn DeShay’s last project came out in 2011. Do you know how many people probably died waiting for this? Yo I won’t even bother talking about the album for a bit, it’s good, check it out (I recommend you listen to “Celebrate” and “I Love It”). This dude took forever so I’m going to pick on that for a second.
* Some of my homies had kids in that time span, literally, they’re 3 years old now! * Some of my homies are on to their 2nd and 3rd kids! * Kanye West and Kim Kardashian weren’t dating yet, their child is 2 now! * Jay Z and Beyonce’s child wasn’t born yet either, their child is 3 now! * “Watch The Throne” was Kanye West and Jay Z’s newest project then! * Young Thug was just getting started in that year and wasn’t even signed yet. Barely anyone knew who he was! * Future’s first album didn’t even drop yet. * Marvel’s “The Avengers” didn’t come out yet. * The PlayStation 4 wasn’t revealed to the public until two years later. * If you mentioned Fetty Wap back then people would’ve said “Who the hell is he?”. * My girlfriend and I have been together for some years now. I had a different girlfriend back then! * DeShay himself moved twice since then. To different states in the US! * DeShay took so long, virtual reality is a thing now!

Was teaching gaiabetheablog how to play Duel Masters (the original, not the unnecessary remake).
The talk went well (surprisingly well actually), first time's the charm I guess. I also loved all of the talks (there are still some people I want to speak to about their presentations) and the little community that formed was amazing and very focused on collaboration (I probably bothered the @nycmesh folk the most). Thanks to @callil for inviting me to talk, I was super happy to do it. And thanks to @gaia_bethea for help with the slides and keeping me focused. The video should be up sometime in the future at https://peer-to-peer-web.com/nyc #P2P #P2PWeb #DatProtocol #BeakerBrowser #Briar #Bramble #Decentralize #Zombie #Zombies #ZombieApocalypse #Internet #IPFS #Koruza #Sonnet #GoTenna #APRS #Fldigi #ZeroNet #NYCMesh #PeerToPeer #FutureWeb #HypotheticlZombieApocalypse (at School for Poetic Computation)

Tumblr migrating to being powered by WordPress and joining the Fediverse in turn will be a huge deal.
About a year ago, WordPress CEO Matt Mullenweg mentioned that Tumblr would support the Fediverse, but there haven’t been any updates on this since then.
While the Fediverse is an interesting idea, I believe Tumblr should consider supporting AT Protocol instead. With Bluesky being the fastest-growing social media platform and the only one currently using AT Protocol, implementing this on Tumblr would not only provide strong competition but also make it easier for users to move between platforms.
This could help prevent monopolies and promote decentralized social networking. Are there any plans for Tumblr to adopt AT Protocol, or could this be considered in the future?
Answer: Hi, @mohdasif!
Good news! While it is still on the list, the Tumblr to WordPress migration will definitely unlock ActivityPub for Tumblr! In fact, one big reason for the migration itself is to get us into the Fediverse. When that’s done, we’re in.
The migration is still a work in progress, as we’ve previously detailed here, but we can say for sure that it will include support for WordPress’s existing ActivityPub plugins. We hope this comes as good news.
Thanks for your question, and we hope it won’t be too long. Keep the questions coming!
