BMW M4 CSL, 2022. A new, track-focused, version of the G22 4-series that is part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of BMW M GmbH. The historic CSL designation stands for “Competition, Sport, Lightweight”, referencing the critical role of weight-minimised design to achieve success in motor sport. The 2-seat M4 CSL has posted the fastest lap times ever for a series-produced BMW car at the Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit. It is powered by a 550hp race-derived twin-turbo straight 6 engine that provides a power-to-weight ratio of 2.95 kilograms per hp. Production will be limited to 1000 cars worldwide.
