Cringe at myself as a person, tolerate myself as a writer :)
Love myself as a person, hate myself as a writer.
The only time I've actually liked looking at a picture of rats
Its me and the rats running my life 🐭
Y'know, if the entire manga was just them having their cute little domestic life, I'd be willing to genuinely ship them unironically.
Mini Comic included at the end of Volume 7
A part of me legit wants to see an alien x human female couple in media where the alien learns about periods, and they're just frantically caring for their female human s/o and desperately trying not to mess anything up because they've literally never heard of menstruation, but feel completely horrible about the fact their s/o suffers through it.
Alien: You're telling me that for seven days each month, you're subjected to immense agony, bleeding, and intense emotional change?
Fem Human: Yeah, pretty much.
Alien: And there's utterly nothing I can do to remove these forthcoming events?
Fem Human: Not any that would have potentially undesirable consequences depending on the person.
Alien: Oh my love, I am so terribly sorry.
I can see the direction of this turning the mage into a very creative, intelligent, and/or whimsical person----or it makes them dumb as a rock, lol
"Well, it seems our mage now has uh...quite the mindframe now since the incident."
*pans over to the mage who's now attempting to eat a fluffy dandelion and choking on the fluttering seeds*
When a mage is badly injured, magic sometimes "fills in the gaps"—growing an arcane hand or leg. You suffered brain damage that would have killed most. Magic filled in your mind.
I'm rereading the My Happy Marriage light novels I got a while back and I scream upon reading about how much of a helpless simp Kiyoka is for Miyo. It's so cute.
The way this man gets so feral at the prospect of her calling him, 'darling' but also tries to make sure she doesn't feel pressured and takes accountability is so AAAAAHHHHH--
Heck, even when Miyo openly said she hated him (she was being cursed to say that, it was against her will), Kiyoka doesn't even blame her and immediately starts questioning if he's the problem or has done something wrong. Godou tells him something and he instantly considers, "I'm most likely the problem."
AAAAAAAAHHHHH
As much as sometimes I'm done with Hanako's slick self, I gotta admit that possessed Yashiro is lowkey a mood tho
I love how Yashiro is legitimately now the Penelope of the series and she don't want no other guy aside from Hanako (same way how Penelope wanted no one but Odysseus).
I also love that she's in her slay era both figuratively and literally---AidaIro did so well in evolving her character.
Yashiro for real found the song Automatic Woman by H.E.R. and said let's switch it up and I love it for her.
I can't help but find it so ridiculous how Hanako literally planned for Aoi to die and yet they're both having a normal conversation as they're going to the existential version of nowhere.
"You may have done some real shady stuff and left me to die behind someone's back, but what do you think of my friend?"
I legit hate it when people do this.
when they put freaky ah smut in the fluff tags 💔
Y'all can keep your emotionally constipated morally gray non-committal yet jealous shadow men. I want a dude to give me cuddles and help me build Lego sets.
