The Occupation has systematically destroyed every social infrastructure that makes civil society possible, whether it be healthcare, food systems, or education. They've targeted schools, hospitals, businesses, and every person who supports their community through their profession.

Rana and Ahmed (@ranafam2) are educators from Khan Younis, with Rana as a statistics professor at the Islamic University of Gaza and Ahmed as the principal of his school: both institutions have now been destroyed.

Palestinians have survived occupation for well over a century now, and they will remain steadfast, but they need your support.

Even with the ceasefire, resources are still limited and expensive. The weekly allowance for basic provisions like baby formula and flour is about $1000. Rana is also anticipating additional costs for baby formula, clothes, and natal care as she's eight months pregnant and expecting soon.

Finally with the ceasefire, Rana is hoping to evacuate with her family altogether. The cost of evacuation per person ranges from $5000 to $7000. If Rana gives birth before she can evacuate, that puts the total anticipated cost at $49,000 (5 children, 2 adults).

My father is a hardworking man who sacrificed his life to provide us with a decent one. But after the war, we lost everything. Our home was destroyed, and we were forced to leave behind all our memories and become displaced. My father tried every possible way to raise funds so we could survive, but every time, his account would get banned or shut down for no reason—it's as if even the right to ask for help is forbidden to us! Every time we find a glimmer of hope, it is quickly taken away.

On top of all this, my father suffers from severe back pain due to spinal disc issues and is still undergoing treatment. Yet, he endures the pain and does everything he can to provide us with a stable life. But the truth? Things are harder than anyone can imagine!

Housing has become a heavy burden, prices are skyrocketing, rent keeps increasing every month, and we have no stable source of income. The economic situation is suffocating, and everything has become so expensive that even basic necessities feel like luxuries! My father carries all these burdens on top of his physical and emotional suffering, and I can't just stand by and watch.

That’s why I decided to create this account myself and try to help him, even in the smallest way. If you are reading this now, I am not just asking for support—I am asking for a chance to save my family from falling apart and to give my father a bit of relief after everything he has been through. Now, her university is destroyed, and she is unable to do anything. My younger sister, (Abeer), was supposed to be in her final year of school, excelling academically and aiming for a high grade. Unfortunately, her school was destroyed, and she cannot continue her education. My younger siblings, Adel (13), Jana (12), and Ammar (8), also cannot continue their education.
