I see a lot of ppl saying shigaraki would be chubby, and I like the idea, but in canon I feel he would be real skinny. He doesn’t take care of himself and seems the type to not be bothered to eat unless he has to.

It’s really common in Japanese culture to just ‘mind your own business.’ I’m not Japanese, but as a foreigner I’ve noticed this. A lady was stumbling drunk and making a commotion and nobody bat an eye nor looked her direction. I wonder if Tomura was socialized enough to understand that’s part of Japanese culture… or does he just think nobody likes him, so they ignore him? It must feel incredibly lonely.

Broody Hawks

𓆩♡𓆪 When Hawks lays an egg, fertilized or not, his bird instincts take over. He becomes fully attached to the egg and will put all of his focus into it.

𓆩♡𓆪 The broodiness sets in a few days before the egg is… laid. He’ll get a nest ready, set with clothing with the scent of himself and the partner (if he has one) to wrap around the baby.

𓆩♡𓆪 The egg starts out small, but grows as it needs to after it is laid. (Don’t question it, logic is flawed but hawks deserves an easy egg lay 💀).

𓆩♡𓆪 He doesn’t let anyone get close. When he’s in his bird brain mentality, he’ll instinctively chase off anyone that gets close. He puffs up his feathers, making himself look bigger and scarier. He’ll have some loose feathers surrounding him, ready to attack if need be. His fierce hawk eyes will be locked onto their target. Any false move could mean death… or a bad injury by mama bird (hawks…).

𓆩♡𓆪 He’ll all but sit on the egg. The egg needs to be at least as warm as the human body, so it should be kept at 98ish degrees at all times. Hawks will cuddle the egg around the clock, only leaving it once a day for roughly twenty minutes to use the bathroom and eat.

𓆩♡𓆪 His feathers will tingle if the eggs needs aren’t met. He knows what the baby needs at all times.

𓆩♡𓆪 The egg needs to be rotated. Hawks will rotate the egg in the nest he made for it about five times per day.

𓆩♡𓆪 Hawks will make sure to give the egg skin to skin contact. When hens are broody, they pluck the feathers where their eggs will be resting against for better warmth. Hawks is the same, except he doesn’t have feathers on his belly.

Shigaraki was so young when he was taken by AFO that he probably had to teach himself all of the life skills he has. Even basic hygiene. At five most kids have a basic concept, but not a good understanding of hygiene. It extends past hygiene, too. How to clean, cook basic meals, manners, everything. I doubt AFO was very hands on in any of these things. He stalked him from afar lmao like that scene of him on the roof watching Shigaraki stumbling through the streets and getting bullied by grown men.
