So as we know Tomura’s birthday is on April 4th… So like 4th month, 4th day, okay? Soooo, if you might know in China or someplace in Asia 4 is considered a very unlucky number… And Tomura has 2 contained in the date that he was born… So maybe that’s like a little secret code to why he grew up in such a miserable home…? This might be a long shot but just think about it…

I’ve never liked the idea of shigaraki having massive muscles. It’s so… male gaze. Like, sure, he got the powers and went through that process. But he’s still a twink imo. (I draw him w muscles cuz it’s fun, but I need to draw scrawny shigaraki)

I find funny how the anime constantly makes Shigaraki look like Lou Ferrigno in terms of muscles, in some cases his head looks like it doesn't belong to his own body:

But then you have Horikoshi drawing him like this...

Like sure, the muscles are still there but he's not this giant hulk with biceps the size of his head.

Even the manga in the first war arc doesn't have him looked like the anime does:

And I remember even the wiki copes with the idea that the surgery was supposed to give him extra muscles, but that was never stated officially and in any case his natural muscles came from the training in MVA.

Idk what's this obssesion the anime has for making all male characters buff as hell, even Dabi when canonically he's also a pipsqueak.

As a kid tomura def ate too much at a time and choked. Then got mad at AFO when he made him spit it out cuz bro was about to die.

He still stuffs his face but learned if he opens his mouth when he chews the excess will just fall out.

It’s really common in Japanese culture to just ‘mind your own business.’ I’m not Japanese, but as a foreigner I’ve noticed this. A lady was stumbling drunk and making a commotion and nobody bat an eye nor looked her direction. I wonder if Tomura was socialized enough to understand that’s part of Japanese culture… or does he just think nobody likes him, so they ignore him? It must feel incredibly lonely.

Thinking about how Shigaraki grew up incredibly isolated. Doubt he was schooled typically, if at all. No friends, family, outside support. Only AFO and Gareki. Maybe he got into games and talking to people, but as Horikoshi said, AFO didn’t like when shigaraki broke computers so he had him play calmer games. So he probably didn’t talk to anyone (like on other social medias) outside of those game lobbies.
