well now we've properly seen young cherry and joe we can really tell that cherry used to be much more animated and laughed openly and expressed his emotions. following adam's whole.... thing he's so much more reserved, like he still gets angry but he's careful and controlled about all his emotions. in the ova, we see cherry openly laugh at joe, and joe reacts with anger. in the show, when cherry laughs, joe looks genuinely surprised. man
