Please help!

Hi friends~

I hate being that person to ask for anything in life BUT I have rent due next week and due to life being… well life, I unfortunately do not have enough to pay it.

I’m in between jobs, having health issues I’ve been having to pay out of pocket for and having to take care of my sick cat. All of this has absolutely drained my wallet. I don’t like asking for hand outs, but I’ve been working my butt off between dog sitting and door dashing trying to make up bills, but I’m just not there yet.

Because I don’t like asking for hand outs just for nothing, I’m also willing to do tarot readings, pendulum readings and even work on art commissions! (Art commissions may take a little a time due to work and such).

I’m also opening my shop sometime in the next few weeks, but it’s unfortunately after rent is due, since I need to buy a few more supplies in order to finish pieces so any extra money will go towards that.

I’m just super fucking bitter that once the flint water crisis got it’s 15 minutes of fame people stopped giving a shit. The water is still poisoned, people! Donations have plummeted and people have been forced back into drinking and bathing with the water! The medical effects of this are astounding, cases of legionnaires disease have skyrocketed, people are having seizures, people are having weird rashes break out over their body, people (including me!) are having their blood poisoned, and it’s not just lead! it’s coliform bacteria! it’s THMs! it’s all in the water and it gets into the bloodstream and breaks down blood vessels, causing bruising and petechiae and internal bleeding and no one gives a shit anymore and it’s only gotten worse like how many people are going to have to die until people realize this is still a problem

I think that witchcraft is one of the best ways to learn how to love yourself and trust yourself. It's one of the greatest forms of self care.

🌿Healing salts🌿

Salt is very purifying, cleansing, and healing, combine it with some various healing plants and you’ve got amazing healing salts for baths, cooking, aromatherapy, and spells. It’s also a great way to preserve your herbs!

🌿 Here’s what you need:

-Salt (regular sea salt is fine but Himalayan or Celtic salt correspond more with healing in my opinion)

-fresh healing herbs/plants of your choice (can be dried but I’ve had better results with fresh)

-mortor and pestle

-somewhere to store it

🌿Here’s some recommended healing herbs/plants:

Basil- protection, prosperity, happiness // anti-inflammatory, anti-nausea, appetite stimulator

thyme- healing, sleep, soothing // soothes respitory system, antiseptic, decongestant

peppermint- energy, health, vitality // nausea &vomiting, IBS, bloating

garlic- protection, banishment, healing // anti-bacterial, anti-viral, reduces infection

lemon peel- cleansing, purifying, joy // antioxidants, immune boost, kills germs

sage- protection, cleansing, wisdom // cough, antibacterial, soothes inflammation

oregano- luck, health, family // anti-virus, allergy relief, anti-inflammatory

orange peel- optimism, happiness, strength // immune boost, vitamins, antioxidants

lemon balm- healing, psychic abilities, uplifting // anti-anxiety, sleep, indigestion

parsley- calming, protection, passion // energy, circulation, digestion

rosemary- cleansing, divination, love// soothes sore muscles, soothes cough, improves memory

🌿How to make it:

-Add a small handful of salt and the herb or herbs of your choice in your mortor and pestle (how much you use depends on the size of your mortor and pestle and how strong you want the salts to be)

-Grind them up until they’re mixed well and infused, the salt will most likely change color.(it’s easier to tell with fresh plants, with dried plants it’ll be more of a powder when it’s done). I like to use this time to focus on the intent!

-Pour it into an airtight container and you’re done, enjoy in a bath, in food, in spells, scrubs etc.

** please do research before consuming any herbs or plants you aren’t familiar with, especially if you’re pregnant or on medication.

on May 25th, my partner had a string of seizures in the middle of the night. This was very concerning because they’ve never had any before, and didn’t have any conditions to explain it. They don’t have health insurance, but needed TWO ambulance rides (Americans already know how expensive that is) including an MRI, EEG and more. We were so scared of the bill that we instantly went and bought them health insurance, which basically drained us financially. They’re insurance doesn’t even go into effect until 7/1, so it won’t cover anything that’s happened. and we have a few neurologist appointments left before the 1st. We still don’t even know what’s wrong. So please, please please. If you can help at all, even $1 or .50¢, please help us. We are looking at over $7,000 in bills not including the ambulance rides, and we’ve only saved $4,000 in the past few years. We still need to pay rent & our bills through it all, which we can afford, but we can’t afford both. We can’t afford to pick and choose.
