“Does everyone in a romcom just take every opportunity to mention love?” “It’s been 15 minutes and we’ve seen two affairs, discussions of sex, cybersex, marriage, divorce, engagement, and dates.”

“How do they keep meeting so often? What do you mean? Like he’s just everywhere she is, what the fuck?” “… it is a romcom, you realize, right?”

"Damn, he's just standing her up? Rude." "Yeah, that seems more like a good way to end a relationship than to start one."

"I genuinely do not know how these two will get together. They hate each other. And for good reason."

"What's with the lying? Why is he lying?"

"I don't think anyone has had a conversation that wasn't about romance, or bookstores."

"No, this is so creepy though. What's wrong with him? Why is she tolerating him? I don't get it."
