Hey sure! Basically I read that book like seven times and tried to think on their ‘purpose’ in Arda. They were out there for a reason. Some were easy (Manwë, for instance). Some…. I struggled (Melkor). But in the end, they all had lil messages, and they worked.

Hi! I am a former closeted witch! I came out on my own, but before that, I simply used a shelf in my closet! I made an altar using some fancy pillows I’d been given and called it storage, kept all me witchy things in shoeboxes, and hid a lighter in one of them. No one was ever the wiser!

Does anyone else in the broom closet know how to make and alter without the people you live with knowing?

This is my all-purpose travel altar! It has:

-an electric tea light

-a thimble for my lil chalice

-my backup pendulum (made with malachite and leather cording)

-a little circle of hematite beads

-a pair of nail scissors for my bolline

-a clear quartz chunk, a pyrite chunk, what I’m 98% sure is agate, and a pretty blue stone I absolutely love but don’t know what it is (if you know PLEASE HELP A POOR BABY WITCH)

-some little slips of black paper

-2 pennies

-a rose petal and a cinnamon stick

-2 little handmade pouches containing salt & lavender

-a sigil I don’t remember what it’s for????

-there is also a tea light holder for a little offering bowl, but the electric tea light is in it..😅

And guys. I still have room for more!!

Hello! I saw that a while ago you reposted something saying that it was okay for newer witches to ask you questions…I’m not sure if this has anything to do with divination, but I’m also not totally sure who to ask. I recently opened an unused deck of cards and the Ace of Spades, which I always understood to be the most superstitious and powerful card, was missing. I have my own intuitions about what this may mean, but I also wanted to ask a more experienced witch.

Hey! I’m glad you asked. I’m this case, I would go with your gut. The suit of spades in cartomancy generally refers to a roadblock or a difficulty.

More specifically, the Ace of spades means a new insight or realization. So you could have a lack of insight on a problem somewhere in your life. Maybe you’re working at a problem without all the input and angles needed.

Or, on a less magical note, there is always the possibility that you’re just missing a card in your deck. It depends on your gut, and if your instincts say it’s related to a problem, then reevaluate a problem that sticks out to you. (Because there’s only one card to go off of, it’s hard to know the specifics of the problem, which is why it might just be a missing card. I recommend pulling another from the same deck, just to see what it has to say.)
