Love it when my oracle cards are ominous.
Lol.
Also look at my beautiful solstice candle that my parents got me!! My Catholic dad made himself go into a witchy shop to get it.
Hello hello! Today we’re going to talk about the preferred method of sigil making for my dear friend. They have severe ADHD and autism, and struggle with focus- either hyper focused or unable to focus.
They prefer this method for its ease and organic feeling. The method I speak of is:
The Abstract Method is a very artsy way to make a sigil. It’s incredibly easy.
First, you’re going to pick the thing you want your sigil to represent. I’m going with “protection” again.
Next, look at the word. What does it mean to you? FEEL where the lines go, how straight they are or how they curve. Everyone’s will look different, since words mean different things to different people.
Example:
Feel free to use mine (with proper credit of course), but don’t be afraid to make yours look completely different from mine! Feel your way through this method.
Shout out to my cousin, a Wiccan, who went to her (much loved and adored) mother’s Christian funeral and delivered a very touching eulogy out of respect for her mother and her beliefs.
And then threw hands with the pastor doing the service, who said that “Not everyone goes to heaven, so just be prepared for that”, and “I don’t know how God will call [great-aunt] to heaven, (she’d been cremated) but I’m sure he’ll figure it out.”
WHILE THE GRIEVING MOTHER AND CHILDREN WERE IN THE FRONT ROW.
He told my cousin, who pointed out that this is a funeral of a much loved woman, and that he should not be saying that to the family, “Oh. Well you’re wrong.”
She tore him a new one. Then she had our ordained grandfather stand up and deliver the rest of the sermon.
So thank you Dea, for putting that man in his place. Your mum was the only one who could defeat my mom at Scrabble. She will be missed.

So I left some pretty flowers out for the fae while working in the garden, and I came outside later to take my dog out -because going is not going to happen unless someone is outside with her- and I found my sugar spoon that has been missing for two years where I left the flowers and now I’m like *shock*
Absolutely!
When your friend is a pagan witch and you're a christian but it's cool because tolkien is life
@maithewitch that sound about right?
That’s what they all say...
I am about to be THE most organized witch you guys just wait
Look guys I'm not dead! Tumblr just screwed up with my account, an my life went nuts for a while , but I'm back!
Whenever I cleanse a spell jar (as a closeted witch) I use moon water and a bit of sea salt. Salt for protection, and moon water because it’s absorbed the qualities of the full moon (or whatever moon you used.)
@ witchblr, I have a question. I'm planning to make my first spell jar, and have researched all of what I can put in it, and how to seal it, and all that, but I've only ever seen others cleanse their jars with incense. I'm not exactly in the position to get or use incense due to being a closeted witch, so is there any other way to cleanse a jar? I can't find any articles on this.
• Mai • They/them • 18 • A safe space for witches who are in the same boat I was, not super long ago. Divination, plants, and faeries are my specialties!
