He gets a curious look on his face and goes searching for his sister, finding the door to her room slightly cracked. There are two voices on the other side in hushed tones.

"You think you'll regret it?"

"Of course not. We both agreed on it right?"

Oh! Miss Roth must be staying over again... but what are they talking about?

"Just wanna make sure you're okay doing this, it's not fun otherwise."

The sides of his head burn, s-should he be listening to this?

He knocks on the door briskly before walking in. He stumbles on... a scene.

Tera is slipping a ring on Kiara's finger, it's gems now modified to be partially teal and partially purple. They both immediately jolt, staring up at Bishop as his eyes wander to the matching ring around Tera's neck.

His eyes hollow.

"N-no. B, this- I can explain..." Tera moves a bit towards him, nerves displayed clearly on her visor.

He's screaming down the stairs a moment later. "TERA AND KIARA ARE ENGAGED! SHE JUST PROPOSED!"

"SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU GOD DAMN DRAMA QUEEN!" Tera roars after him- trying to catch him to literally shove a sock in his mouth.

I have been on the road since 10am and just got back a bit ago... if I have to do anything else today, someone is dying.

Spectre looks to the floor.

With a sigh, Spectre puts aside everything she can't travel with, and enters the shadow in front of her.

She emerges in what appears to be nothing. But that's not really the case. She looks at the void.

"Copper-9. Where I first met you, Tera. Where I saw the panic and growth of your family, and where I saw the deaths of all those who couldn't make it." She sighs. "But you made it. And those important to you did as well."

She frowns. "Well, I guess that's not entirely true, is it, Mr. Doorman?"

There was no answer. Of course there wasn't. As sentimental as she was being, she knew that she'd probably never again hear his voice. Not this one, at least.

Even so…

"Your daughter is doing great. Her—no, your family is doing great. They've encountered many hardships, and some have traveled along to the new home with them, but I know you'd be proud of the people they've become."

She chuckles.

"I uh… proposed to Tera. We're engaged now. Kiara too. Seeing her with Ai reminds me of how Uzi was with her, so I'm sure you would smile seeing it. Heheh, I can only hope you'd approve of me for you granddaughter. She's done so much for me. Your entire family has. And I can't be more thankful. To them, and to you, sir."

She looks once more where the exoplanet once was.

"Goodbye for now, Khan. Thank you for everything."

"You too, Doll."

She entered the void again, and went home. Back to her new home, on Titanium-28

I don't know when it started...Kia has been my freind for as long as I can remember. She and Rad were really the only two people to not treat me like... I'm scary. People expect me to go a fight things, be strong and tough, why else would I have claws and fangs? To her, I was always just... me, Tera. Her best freind."

Tera is scrunching in on herself, she looks embarrassed... and sad.

"Even after I scared her to death when my wings and tail came in... she's always been there, never once scared that I would hurt her...and I didn't always have that confidence, that I wouldn't on accident."

"I realized it in the dumbest way... we were just sitting on the couch, watching some stupid movie- I don't even remember what it was now. And she fell asleep on me, just like that... had complete trust in me, no fear."

She's almost tearing up, there's a lump in her throat that she pushes down.
