Shana Tova!!! May Your Enemies, Haters, And Those Who Wish Evil Upon You Be Cut Off. The Blessing For

Shana Tova!!! May your enemies, haters, and those who wish evil upon you be cut off. The blessing for the leek has always felt resonant but this year it's been on my mind a lot. For me at least, 5785 is a year of practicing healthy boundaries and taking care of myself - even if I have to run on spite. I hope everyone has a safe Rosh Hashanah ❤️

Ok No But This Literally Was Announced At 530 This Morning As I Was Waiting To Board The Shuttle To My

Ok no but this literally was announced at 530 this morning as I was waiting to board the shuttle to my flight. A white pilot was there and he started shouting and celebrating and telling everyone after throwing his mask away. When he told me it was almost like he half expected me to throw my mask in the air and dance a jig. I did not.

When we boarded the shuttle, the (black) bus driver refused to drive until all passengers were masked. These 3 (white) pilots, including aforementioned pilot, stared to loudly argue about how the federal government trumps the bus rules and how it was stupid and no longer needed. The bus driver held his ground until the pilots all begrudgingly, sort of, masked up.

When the shuttle dropped us off, I shit you not, this man ran down the terminal telling people the mandate was lifted like he was Paul revere and the British were coming.

I did not remove my n95 for even a second from the moment I stepped out of my car until I got in my rental car over 10 hours later.

As an immune compromised person, the mask mandate was the only thing that really made me feel comfortable flying and now I have to make serious evaluations about every trip I’m scheduled to take this year

This is what means to be a non-Muslim living in a Muslim supremacist regime. You don’t have rights. Your existence on this planet depends on the mercy of Muslims who consider themselves to be your inherent superiors based on their religion and your refusal to convert.

This is what Hamas wants for Israel. They want to recreate what Iran has done. Any Jews allowed to live will be treated as second class citizens, killed if they have the temerity to defend themselves.

This is what people who say “From the River to the Sea” and “Globalize the Intifada” are actually supporting. Its not for some idyllic little country where the Muslims will suddenly change and become the version of America that they think should exist. It will be a brutal, oppressive Sharia compliant country.

Maybe you should think about what you are supporting. Israel is not perfect. But Israel is pluralistic society that has demonstrated it respect human rights of its citizens. Could it do more? Yes. But so could every other liberal democracy out there.

But the difference between what Israel is and what Hamas and Fatah want are striking. Israel wants to be better. Hamas and Fatah do not.

In World Affairs, The Strategy Of “just Pretend It Isn’t Happening” Has An Extremely Poor Track

In world affairs, the strategy of “just pretend it isn’t happening” has an extremely poor track record. Nor is it true that, as the chief of medicine on Scrubs once put it, “if you don’t look for a mistake, you can’t find one.”

Now that the world has been forced to admit that there is no famine in Gaza, it has been made clear that Israel is letting plenty of food aid into the strip. Which means it’s time to admit something is happening to that food, and it isn’t Israel’s fault. From the Wall Street Journal:

Officials from the United Nations, the largest distributor of aid in Gaza, say that people are looting trucks when they reach Gaza, making it unsafe for their employees to deliver aid. By midafternoon on Monday, no U.N. trucks arrived to pick up aid from the Kerem Shalom crossing, where on Sunday Israel began a daily pause to fighting from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. along a key north-south road used to deliver aid throughout much of Gaza. The Israeli military said 21 other trucks picked up supplies on Sunday. “We need to keep people safe,” said Scott Anderson, the Gaza-based director of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, a key group tasked with managing aid distribution in the Strip. An official with the World Food Program, another U.N. agency that delivers aid to Gaza, also cited looting en route to WFP warehouses as hindering deliveries.

So UN trucks are allowed into Gaza, it’s just that the UN drivers don’t want to go because they fear Palestinian violence.

“But there was one scenario in which the Autistic people left a positive first impression: when people read a transcript of their words instead of seeing and hearing the Autistic people saying those words, observers rated them as more likable and more intelligent. In fact, in the scenario where observers just read the written words of Autistic and non-autistic people, they rated both groups the same. For non-autistic people, the written transcripts were their lowest-rated mode of communication, although only by a small amount. For Autistic people, the written transcripts were their highest-rated mode of communication by a very significant margin. Written communication is the great social equalizer. Remember this if you start to fear your Autistic child is spending too much time interacting with others online and not enough time interacting with others face-to-face. Online communication is a valid accommodation for the social disability that comes with being Autistic. We need online interaction and this meta-study demonstrates exactly why that is the case.”

“This thing can’t possibly be an antisemitic dog whistle, it’s just a commonly used phrase!”

My dude you are so close to understanding how pervasive antisemitism is
