i am deathly curious as to what becomes of the rest of the worst gen (like law, kidd, bonney) like it genuinely kept me up when i first read young like the sea

i probably wont be able to fit in a lot of minor characters into the main fic, but maybe for sidestories!

(kinda a) redraw of mr. silly little guy luffy from the new ending

more of my “mafia” au ig with:

- luffy & zoro being childhood friends before the creation of the strawhats family

- zoro being more of a babysitter than an actual bodyguard

- luffy sitting on zoro’s shoulder because he likes being tall

- featuring luffy beating the crap outta other gangs and accidentally gaining territory and followers 

- people always underestimating luffy because hes thin and short until they literally get their asses handed to them

- gangs thinking roronoa “demon hunter” zoro is the leader and not the happy go lucky strawhat-wearing kid beside him 

- luffy accidentally creating a grand network of connections between various gangs, the law enforcement, and even a terrorist group just from being a cool dude 

- zoro usually only fighting with one sword because luffy doesnt want to get off his shoulder (often cause luffys in the middle of eating something). this habit resulted in zoro becoming ambidextrous 

- luffy using brass knuckles 

- luffy & zoro rooftop parkouring (both have fallen into dumpsters multiple times) 

- both didnt know how to do basic first aid before luffy snatched up Chopper—a med student—so they have a bunch of stolen bandaids (luffy likes the ones with sparkles)

i think lusopp, sanuso and zosopp shippers should join forces to make people realize that the monster trio's first priority is actually usopp and if they knew how the fandom treats him they'd go insanely mad and protective

Every single fic update there is an author trying frantically to find the right balance between a nonchalant aside of "leave a comment if you enjoyed =)" and clinging desperately to the coat tails of a random stranger, dragging along behind them on the street wailing "Please, please! I have to know what you thought! I'm desperate to talk to people about this! Ask me about the alliterative repetition! Ask me about the symbolism!"
