I Find It Kind Of Stupid How 'half Full' Vs 'half Empty' Is Framed As An Optimist/pessimist Thing. If

I find it kind of stupid how 'half full' vs 'half empty' is framed as an optimist/pessimist thing. If it starts full and gets halfway drained, it's half empty. If it starts empty and gets halfway filled, it's half full. If you don't know the starting state it's both simultaneously.

I bet someone maybe said this in tags but🤷‍♀️ blah blah I know it’s a way someone else uses to determine a thing about some blehhh but actually the cup is technically speaking full scientifically due to us being surrounded by air molecules! And since unless we are NOT in a vacuum (unless it’s space or man made which we aren’t) nothing is really ‘empty’ we just perceive at so. So that cup is half water and half whatever else is in the air around it at the current moment!
