since dawn, israel has killed at least 64 people in strikes targeting overcrowded homes and displacement tents — one of the deadliest mornings in Gaza since the genoc/de resumed last month.
Please open if you can. And if someone can help me, I’m new at this.
Someone was asking in a thread what kind of people could work for ICE right now.
I think it's a good time to remember that the image above are the people who put children into gas chambers.
When I was little, I asked what kind of person could work at a concentration camp.
The answer to both questions I think is "normal people who have accepted the dehumanization of another group of people."

There's this weird hypocrisy where people will try to sound rational by saying Hamas isn't all Palestinians and Israel isn't all Jews, as if it was the same thing.
There's also the fact that murders and terrorism is excused when it happens to IDF members, reservists or ex members. Given the conscription, it's really just genocidal rhetoric
This take completely misses the point. Saying “Hamas isn’t all Palestinians” and “Israel isn’t all Jews” is rational, because both statements are true. The difference is that Israel is a powerful state with the strongest military in the region, while Hamas is a militant group that controls a besieged, occupied strip of land. Equating the two as if they’re on equal footing is just not reality.
And let’s talk about this “murder and terrorism is excused” claim. No one is celebrating death for the sake of it. But if someone targets the IDF, an army that bombs cities, kills children, enforces apartheid laws, and shoots civilians at protests, that’s not the same as targeting civilians. These are soldiers. Active or reserve, they’re part of a military system that directly harms Palestinians every single day. That’s not genocide to call it out, it’s resistance to oppression. You don’t get to bomb Gaza for years and then act shocked when people see IDF members as part of the violence.
And let’s be real, Israel’s conscription isn’t just “a fact of life,” it’s a system that forces people into participating in military occupation. So if someone says they don’t feel bad when a person serving in that system faces consequences, it’s not because they’re genocidal. It’s because they’ve watched their families die at the hands of people in uniform. Don’t twist that grief into “terrorism apologism.”
If you want to talk hypocrisy, look at the way people dehumanize every Palestinian death as “collateral” while calling any hit on a soldier “terror.” That’s the real double standard.
