There are ravens circling the Schlossberg. There are ravens croaking in the trees of the Murpromenade. There is a raven in your bedroom, staring at you with its beady eyes, tilting its head.

It snows. The Bims can’t take you from A to B. The bike paths are not clear. You have to walk to work. Every other inhabitant of Graz has to walk too. Nobody speaks. You just walk, eyes glassy and empty.

You bought a delicious pastry from Auer. Hubert? Martin? You can’t find the pastry ever again. The elders say there was once a third Auer. They won’t say his name out loud. Whenever you come near they hush their voices.

You take the 39er because it’s cute and takes a round trip through the old town. Where is the bus stop you wanted to get out at? Have you missed it? Haven’t you seen this square, this alley before? You can’t remember.

It’s summer. The Passamtswiese is crowded. All people playing frisbee look the same. You blink. They still look the same. You are trapped in a neverending nightmare of ethereal summer.

Are there people living in Zinzendorffgasse from July to September? Or is it all a big lie to cover the fact that this part of town is basically a ghost town? You wander through the street, wondering, hungry, alone.

So now that OBI-WAN KENOBI has premiered its first two episodes, a lot of us are right back in the screaming hell pit of feelings about Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker! And some of us never left. I know Mark Hamill is too old to play Luke pre-sequel trilogy now and it's probably too expensive to keep using tech to de-age him.

But.

I feel angry on Luke's behalf that he's mostly forgotten about now in canon. Luke became a Jedi and brought Anakin back to the Light Side and it's kinda like Star Wars has just gone "thank you, next" and discarded him?? It's his storyline to rebuild the Jedi Order but they had him mess that up and passed over his storyline to Rey. It's like they've decided Luke's only value was saving Anakin and now that that's done they don't care about him anymore. Justice for Luke Skywalker. He deserves so much better.

I’m still developing the designs for my eldritch theatre-costume AU, so here are the Fëanorians as a start! (sorry these are super messy loll nor are they drawn to scale/height!)

Now, just some general info about my eldritch theatre Elves: their bodies are tree-based and humanoid (they have arms and legs underneath those layers!), hence the branches that grow out from behind their masks. I imagine they cover their faces for some reason or other, but I haven’t figured that part out yet loll

They also wear a lot of layers, which leads to Maglor them looking like the polluted river spirit from Spirited Away. The Noldor do this especially out of all the Elven clans, perhaps as a point of pride or status (to show that they have lots of nice things, perhaps).

One more thing – I mentioned in my previous eldritch post that the branches on their heads act as their Elf ears XDD Generally they’d have leaves and/or flowers on them, but the Fëanorians’ branch-ears are barren due to all the wars/journeys/slayings they’ve gone through.
