things that people treat like moral traits when they're not:
hygiene
punctuality
appearance
language
being good at these don't make you a good person, and being bad at these don't make you a bad person.
you can be dirty, messy, late, fat, and you can write with spelling mistakes every two words, and none of this makes you a bad person.
we need to stop treating this as moral failings.
Genuinely love that this has not only national support, but worldwide support

Paying for the fire department stops neighborhoods from burning down. It prevents suffering.
Paying for health care for all would help our communities. It would prevent suffering.
Get it?
Jan 6th insurrectionists tried to violently overthrow the US government - beating and killing officers of the law in the process. Not one was charged with terrorism.
Dylan Roof killed 9 black people attending church because he wanted to start a race war. Not charged with terrorism.
Mass murders slaughter scores of CHILDREN in the US on the daily. Not charged with terrorism.
But kill ONE POS CEO under investigation for insider trading, who has probably killed scores of people with a waive of a pen and a cashing of a big bonus check and - TERRORISM.
Get the living fuck out of here. Not only is America a piece of shit country, it's also an oligarchy, and we need to admit it already. ππΌππΌππΌ
still looking for evidence -> they didn't have the evidence before
they're just straight up admitting they didn't have evidence for the terrorism charge when they indicted him. they just made that up. they charged him with terrorism because they felt like it.
things we need to address:
gen z men getting pulled into alt-right pipelines through andrew tate, joe rogan, elon musk, jordan peterson etc
the gullibility and stupidity of half the country voting against our collective best interests
the broad effect social media has on public and common good
lazy minds and lack of empathy
outside-country interference (trump and elonβs connections to russia and the amount of bots from other countries spreading misinformation)
the long-term effects of AI and rampant disinformation
