something that i will always remember of technoblade is how he was kind just for the sake of it.

i will remember him claiming the monopoly sound was too loud for him to hear wilbur when he spoke of techno staying up all night to comfort him when he was sick. i will remember him taking the time to add watermarks for his artists when they themselves forgot. i will remember niki and sophie saying how he always somehow made sure they never felt excluded or neglected and how he would hate it, it would embarrass him when they spoke of his kindness publicly. i will remember him personally dming ponk to thank them for sending a 45-minute video of someone feeding hotdogs to raccoons in chat and timestamping his favorite part. i will remember his love for the people who created for him, how he would keep his mentions on for everyone before his fanart tag was formed and would just scroll and scroll to make sure not to miss any art someone made for him. i will remember half his friends and peers having some kind of a story of him reaching out to them during tough days, reassuring them, believing in them, making them feel loved.

i will remember him in every act of kindness i receive and i will remember him during times in my life when i will need to remind myself to be kind despite it all.

Gang let's leave the Canary Curse behind. It broke in Secret Life. Vestigial traits can carry over, sure, but it's over. Mumbo has only died immediately after Jim twice, and now this one time hes died first- he's not the new canary, and neither is Lizzie, who just had really bad luck and is doing amazing this season. It sucks that has only been happening to them, while Grian died first in Real Life and, by that logic, would also be a canary.

That being said it would be so funny if Mumbo woke up back on Hermitcraft and had to comb some feathers out of his mustache. But let's leave it at that ey? Just a little refrence, a little "ough, you had it rough" symbolism when they wake up in another server- whisked away by the resuscitation device.

I have no idea how Jimmy feels about all the canary symbolism now, but as of Sos SMP he had basically accepted it (a quote where he named his elytra "Canary wings" and said "they're a part of me now, it's not lore", it's worth pointing out this is solidly after Secret Life). Hence I will keep using it as inspiration for his character and for some refrences. However we should take an actual look at canary symbolism.

Well, doesn't that seem like our vagyely unlucky guy. He's always hopeful, very optimistic, worried about his friends safety (even if he isn't allied with them), and can be relatively vulnerable. Most of all, after so many times of dying first (and being targeted in other series), he's kept his head up high, and kept his eyes on the prize, always swearing that this will be his season. He's the most resilient person I can think of. This is how we can still characterize him as a canary.

Remember, the Curse isn't just about laughs and poking fun at an unlucky player, the Curse has been broken, and you shouldn't force the Curse on other players. That's all thank uuuuu <3

I greatly adore the idea of teen Dazai being touch-starved and not having known many kids his age. Then a fiery redhead who speaks his mind, has strong morals even in dubious situations, and is so undeniably alive enters his life. He is an anomaly that Dazai immediately becomes obsessed with. Going out of his way to find any files on him, learning his code, constantly trying to find ways to grab his attention (or annoyance), and writing about him in weekly newsletters and in personal notebooks. He is enamored by this kid and the only way he knows how to express it is be a dick.

He even sticks around longer instead of drinking the elixir Mori was going to make for him.

I’d like to think that a sense of child-like possessiveness overtakes him a bit. That in cases when he learns Chuuya has experienced things without him he is frustrated. Because not only has Chuuya had the luxury to experience some childhood staples but he also experienced those things without Dazai. Chuuya is a first for Dazai, but Dazai is not a first for Chuuya. It’s one of the first heartbreaks I think a child experiences. Like when your best friend has another best friend. Or your best friend got their ears pierced first with other people. You were supposed to do that together and now you’re lagging behind.

Of course I think he’d grow out of this like most kids do. But it makes my heart ache to think of a jealous Dazai that sees Chuuya parading around with The Flags or having already had alcohol or his first kiss before Dazai has. They’re so competitive with one another.

I have a HC that in a scenario in which Chuuya claims to have had his first kiss, Dazai calls him a liar. He calls him a liar because he doesn’t believe him but also because he doesn’t want it to be true.

Kind of unrelated but I also deeply subscribe to the HC that teen Dazai is touch-starved and therefore finds excuses to touch Chuuya. Like they’re both picking a fight because they need a hug but are too proud to ask for it or touch each other in a remotely affectionate way. Very fun.

Anyway that’s been me overanalyzing and headcanoning the crap out of soukoku.
