Holding On Because of You ๐๐
I never imagined I would be in this positionโwriting these words, reaching out to strangers, asking for help just to survive. But life as I knew it is gone. 25 members of my family are no longer here. My mother, my sisters, my niecesโฆ all taken in an instant.
We lost our home, our stability, our sense of security. We have been displaced over and over, forced to leave behind what little we had left, hoping to find safety that never lasts for long.
๐ Some days, it feels impossible to keep going. ๐ Some nights, the grief is too heavy to carry. ๐ But your kindness has been a light in this darkness.
Because of you, we have now raised $2,500. It is still so far from what we need, but it is something. It is hope. It is proof that we are not forgotten.
I know that not everyone can give. Times are hard for so many. But if you can spare just $5, know that it means more to us than words can say. And if you cannot donate, sharing this post is also a form of kindness.
