Hey Folks, This Is Not Your Typical Post About Incorrect Quotes.

Hey folks, this is not your typical post about incorrect quotes.

I want to address a serious issue today, and most of you probably know what’s been going on in the US.

The killing of George Floyd started another serious and necessary debate on Police brutality in the states. (And I think not just there. Every country is affected in some way or another.)

My heart doesn’t ache, no. My heart is bleeding and crying out of pain about what has been going on for days now. What people have been going through for years and years. This is not the first case of police brutality against POC, nor the second, and it probably isn’t the last one.

It happened so many times already that I can’t count them all. Our world has lost so many beautiful souls to this never-ending issue. Additionally to this, we lost so many brothers and sisters of color who were part of the LGBTQ+ community too. Even though it is pride month, I can’t enjoy and celebrate it as much as I want to.

But now is the time to act. Now more than ever! We all have a voice, and I’m sure as hell using mine. And I want you to do the same.

40 Ways you can help right now shows you different techniques and approaches to support the #blacklivesmatter movement in various forms.

Everyone’s able to do something. Even if you don’t have the money to donate, or you’re not from the US, share articles, draw attention to it in some way. Being silent about this puts you on the side of the offenders.

I understand that I will never understand. However, I stand with all of you!!! Credit goes to @sfbucketlist on instagram for these 40 ways you can help right now.

Friendly Reminder To Check Your Breasts While You’re Just Sitting There Scrolling The Internet, Then

Friendly reminder to check your breasts while you’re just sitting there scrolling the internet, then reblog so your followers do the same. Two people I know were just diagnosed within the same week.

Both my brother and mom have a gluten intolerance (not quite Celiac, but not fun in the slightest), and my brother had a friend with Celiac, and I desperately hope that someone never deliberately messes with their food. I'm not entirely sure if someone has before, but I would be pissed if someone did. I'm not the nicest person, I'll admit that, but I would never give either my mom or brother gluten on purpose. Yes, I'll yell at them for changing my music or even suggesting to play something else while I'm working, but no matter how annoyed I am, I am not that bad of a person. I respect people's food choices, mostly because I know people have allergies to food. A couple of my friends are lactose intolerant too, and even my sister has an allergy to red dye, like she has had trouble breathing after ingesting red dye. It's not awful most of the time, but it scared my mom when it happened, so whoever thinks it's a good idea to give people who specifically asked for something to not be in their food should not be working in the food industry. I, luckily, don't have any known food allergies, only those seasonal allergies that are a complete bitch. But yeah. Don't mess with people's food.

DO NOT DO THIS.

DO NOT DO THIS.

This makes me so angry.

If you work in a movie theater and you do this I have no respect for you.

My younger brother is Type 1 Diabetic.

When we go to a movie theater, we always get him diet soda. If he were to get regular when we asked for diet, we would not give him the insulin he would need for it. If that happens, his blood sugar level could go so high he could go into a coma, go blind, or even die.

If somebody gave him regular soda instead of diet without telling us, that person could be responsible for a nine-year-old being killed or blinded.

Just thinking about that makes me so angry. I get scared every time we take him to a movie in case the people working there saw this picture and decide to do the same thing.

Please signal boost this so people know.
