Stanley Pines was a loud person. Most who met him knew this. He was loud when he laughed, talked, when he snored as he slept. Even when he wasn't talking at all, his movements were loud, or at least felt so.
And Stanford had expected him to be loud when he was angry too. In some ways he was, other ways not so much.
Ford was loud when he was angry, screaming at minimum and explosive at worst. He expected his brother to be that same, they were identical twins after all, but he seemed to only be half right. Stan was loud when he was upset or annoyed. Loudly and continuously complaining to anyone who would or wouldn't listen until their ears grew sore. He was loud when being angry about being woken up. When a show or something did an action that pissed him off.
Stanley was loud most times, except when he's truly furious at you.
And not angry or pissed or annoyed, but *furious.* He was quiet, dark, and cold then. And somehow that was scarier than if he did yell. He won't say a word, not an exhale, not a sound. With bottomless dark seething pits for eyes, while staring unblinking at you. Any defense or word you were saying would dissipate with that look.
If Stanford was a volcano, Stanley was a glacial freeze.
Ford has only seen this level of fury from his brother once in the time he's known him. And that was when someone was idiotic enough to insult Soos in front of him.
They were at the shack, having traveled a few days before the niblings were scheduled to arrive for the summer, and Stan was manning the register while Soos did a tour. There were a couple days of school left so Wendy wasn't in yet and Melody was visiting family, and his brother didn't mind filling in. He had also been in the gift shop at the time, chatting about preparations they need to make before the younger twins arrive and how they should take them fishing; maybe even on a small trip on the Stan'O'War. Soos had come in not too long after, having finished his last tour for the day, and joined them. It was still early in for major tourist season so they're was much to do yet on that front, but townsfolk from time to time would ask for a small tour ro see what changes were made to the shack.
Stan and Soos had been discussing new exhibit ideas, as Ford quietly listened, when a man had stormed into the shack. Instantly requesting the owner. Soos had looked timidly around the place for a second before stepping close to see what was wrong. His brother, for his credit, had left the young man a chance to deal with whatever the issue was, seeing that he was no longer that owner anymore. But kept an ear out for if it got out of hand, since Soos had come a long way in confidence and had done well as Mr. Mystery. Stan couldn't get enough of saying how proud he was of the kid, even if most of it wasn't to said kid's face.
Soon, however, it turned sour and the man was just insulting the place. How tacky it was and so on, nothing overly original. Stan had rolled his eyes, having dealt with most of it for thirty years of running the place, and Soos was noticeably pissed but trying to stay calm and respectful. Ford considered stepping in, back the kid up, and from his peripheral he could see Stan was not far after though still seem to be gauging the young man's reaction first. Not wanting to step on Soos's leadership stuffing himself in. Before that could happen though, the man had insulted Soos. Stanford couldn't recalled what it was, his ears filling with fog with growing anger. He hadn't known the kid as his brother had, but was endeared all the same in the small time he known him. Hearing his brother talk about him only further that. Stan, who had had his legs prompt up onto the counter, stood up instantly from his chair and stormed off. He only caught a glimpse from how fast his twin moved, though the look on Stanley's face was haunting. He had never seen such expression on his face, not once, and he wouldn't have to.
Stan wedged himself between Soos and the man There was no yelling, no exchanged, as soon as he was close to the guy he was gripping his shoulder and dragging him outside as if he was the shack's bouncer. No screams or anything came even when they were outside, it was silent and stifling. Soos and him see the man scrambling to run away in the door's window before they see Stan again. And when he did his expression was completely different, still tense, however not as furious as it had been before. His voice was gentle and kind as he asked Soos if he was alright. Wrapping an arm around the kid's back and squeezing his shoulder in a comforting gesture.
When Ford had attempted to ask what he'd said to the guy to make him run so scared, that furious expression from before flashed on his face before sighing. Like just the mention of the dude set a fury in him. He replied with something along the lines of "I told him in a not so nice way to not mess with my family, or I'll acquaint him with the end of a blade where the sun doesn't shine." His brother changed the subject soon after, and Ford obliged since he didn't like seeing his brother upset. He still wondered briefly what exactly happened out there, though he tried not to be bother too much about it. Even if it slightly worried him to see his brother that quiet and that angry in equal measures. It also reaffirmed something he knew about his brother. Family was everything to him. Anyone who messed with his family would deal with his fury or his fists.
And his family would do the same for him
Funny enough that was who i was hoping i would get lol
May I propose this Picrew and this Uquizz?
@sennyside
@drowninnoodles (yes I'm using your Picrew MWEHEHEHEH)
Idek I'm bored this has prolly been done before
Glass Shard Beach was never truly quiet. The waves crashed against the shore, the salty air thick and ever-present, while the laughter of kids carried on the breeze. But beneath the carefree energy of the season, shadows lurked. For twelve-year-old Ezekiel “Zeke” Cutter, summer was supposed to be an escape. A break from school, from expectations, from the gnawing hunger he didn’t fully understand.
He had always been close to Stanley and Stanford Pines. They were his best friends—the only ones who really mattered. Stan was the loudmouth, always getting into trouble, always bruised but never broken. Ford was the brain, always thinking, always planning. And Zeke? He was the protector, the one who made sure no one messed with them. Which is exactly why, when Campelter started picking on them, Zeke saw red.
Campelter was the worst kind of kid. The kind that smelled like sweat and cheap cologne, who thought he was better than everyone because he was taller, meaner. He had it out for Stan from the moment they met.
“Hey, loser! Where’s your freak of a brother?” Campelter sneered, shoving Stan forward.
Stan stumbled, barely keeping his footing. Ford wasn’t around to bail him out—he was probably off reading somewhere, oblivious.
Zeke clenched his fists. “Back off, Campelter.”
Campelter just grinned. “Or what? You gonna cry about it?”
Zeke’s breath hitched. He could hear it—his own heartbeat pounding in his ears. It wasn’t fear. It was something else. Something deep, something hungry.
Stan’s lip curled as he stepped forward. “I can handle myself, Zeke.”
But Zeke wasn’t listening anymore. Campelter shoved Stan again, laughing, and something inside Zeke snapped.
It happened fast. One moment, Zeke was standing still, watching Campelter grin like he ruled the world. The next, his body moved on instinct. He lunged, teeth bared, sinking them deep into Campelter’s arm.
The taste—
It was—
Indescribable.
Blood filled his mouth, warm and metallic, coating his tongue. Campelter’s scream barely registered as Zeke bit down harder, his entire body trembling.
Then, just as suddenly, he let go.
Campelter stumbled back, clutching his bleeding arm, eyes wide with terror. “WHAT THE HELL, YOU PSYCHO?!”
Zeke wiped his mouth, breathing heavily. His head swam, heart racing. What…what had he just done?
Stan and the other kids just stood there, frozen.
“Zeke…” Stan whispered, eyes darting from him to Campelter’s wound.
“I—” Zeke swallowed hard. “I didn’t—”
“You BIT me!” Campelter howled, staggering backward. He was bleeding badly, but it was just a bite. It wouldn’t kill him.
Zeke’s stomach twisted. Not in guilt. Not in fear.
In hunger.
He ran. Didn’t wait for Stan. Didn’t look back. He sprinted toward the bordwalk, lungs burning, hands shaking. His mouth still tasted like blood. It wasn’t disgusting. It wasn’t wrong.
It was good.
But it wasn’t normal. He wasn’t normal.
Zeke gripped his head, breathing hard. “No, no, no. I can’t—I won’t—”
But he wanted no he needed more.
And worse?
He knew exactly where to find it…

To Be Continued…
Oooo alright i like it but you know what also would be interesting is Ford going through everything Stan went through when he was kicked out and well he meets a Stanley and learns that was how it was for him when he was kicked out in which knowing that makes him both angry and yet feeling closer to his brother in a weird twisted way
Alright hear me out…just…J-JUST HEAR ME OUT!
What if Stanley Pines never existed and Stanford was an only child but to him he wasn’t to him he was born with a twin.
Allow me to elaborate
As long as Stanford could remember he always had a twin brother they did everything together Stanley protected him from bullies, comforted him, helped him with the Stan-O-War. Everything goes almost according to cannon but one thing is missing and thats Stanley because he is just a physical manifestation of Stanford’s imagination that means only Ford can see Stanley but he assumes everyone else can too, and well his parents didn’t see much to be concerned about a lot of kids Ford’s age had imaginary friends so they…mostly Caryn let her son believe while she forced Filbrick to also play along because Stanford is just a kid.
But everything comes to a head when the science fair rolls around and for once it wasn’t tampered with by any human anyway, but more along the lines of a rat chewing the wires but Stanford is admit that Stanley sabotaged his project but his twin brother so when he heads home madder then a hornet and excepting to see Stanley there but his brother is no where to be found so he tells his parents and well…lets just say Filbrick didn’t take the information well assuming that Stanford destroyed his own project and costing them potential millions, he decides to finally shatter Stanford’s whole world by telling him Stanley never existed.
Now Stanford is mad at his brother sure but even he thinks his father saying Stanley no longer exists is a bit harsh and argues with his father till Filbrick takes out a photo album and slams it open on the coffee table revealing a bunch of pictures which were supposed to be of Stanford and Stanley but something wasn’t right…
Stanford’s blood would run cold when he sees he is alone in every picture Stanley isn’t were he is supposed to be which can’t be right because he knows his brother was there he remembers everything they did together his father had to have tampered with the pictures!
Long story short Stanford is kicked out of the house he is no longer considered a Pines due to his stupidity as his father puts it.
Feel free to expand on this if you like, this all was just something i thought of during the night and just had to get it out there
Oh good im glad you like it @leo-artista It was just a small fun little thing though i do have other ideas for this au if you’d like to hear them
Actually you know what i’ll just put them here for anyone to use just little spit ball of ideas because this little au has so much potential for something great!
Potential Plot Threads
• Ford’s Spiral into Grief: Ford becomes obsessed with finding out more about Stan’s last days, digging into his brother’s life with a desperation that borders on self-destruction. He’s haunted by regret, by questions, by the ache of losing someone he never got to forgive.
• Stan’s Loneliness: As time passes, the weight of his isolation starts to sink in. He sees families together, brothers laughing at a bar, and it hits him—he might’ve escaped his enemies, but in doing so, he’s erased himself from everyone who ever cared.
• The Truth Comes Out: Maybe years later, Ford stumbles across evidence that suggests Stanley never actually died. Maybe he hears rumors of a conman who looks eerily familiar. Maybe a stray postcard with handwriting he recognizes sets him on a path to uncover the truth.
• A Bittersweet Reunion: If Ford does find Stan, it’s not a happy embrace. It’s anger. It’s disbelief. It’s Ford demanding, “Do you have any idea what you put us through?” And Stan, who spent years thinking he was unwanted, suddenly faced with the reality that he was missed more than he ever could’ve imagined.
Random au idea: what if mullet Stan had decided to fake his death so that he'd stop getting chased by Rico's gang? And then it somehow ends up on the news and his family believes that he died- there's like a funeral and everything. Nobody is happy about it, but by far the one who takes it the hardest is Ford. After years of not hearing word from his twin he suddenly finds out he just died, and he has no idea how to feel about that. It's almost like a part of him died along with Stanley
Meanwhile Stan has no idea about what his family is going through because of his faked death. He just assumed that they would probably be fine, since it's not like anyone aside from maybe his mom would care anyways. He even considers it like he's doing them a favor, getting rid of the "useless" son who couldn't even make the fortune he said the would
Idk just an idea. If someone wants to use it or expand on it feel free to do so!
Sooo I have two Gravity Falls au ideas for an ask blog and im having a hard time picking one so with out going into too much detail of it but I will say both will have an Oc insert I want y’alls opinion on which one I should do (also the detail is in the titles everyone)
My favorite headcannon what we all collectively agree on is that Stanford purrs, he just the best and deserves some love after all the suffering he has been through. 🥰🥹
A light hue of red dusted across the teens freckled cheeks as he looks away feeling a little embarrassed “Ah r-right its just i have never met anyone else with the same condition as me well except for the heterochromia thing.” It seemed Asher would avoid making eye contact with Stanford when he spoke along with seeming to fidget with his lose sweater sleeve “Its a great honor to meet you Ford, I know I probably seem like some dumb kid and maybe i’m being too straight forward but it means a lot to me to have found someone like you I don’t really have anyone and while my sketches, journaling, and paranormal investigations keep me company it does get rather lonely…” as he spoke he seemed to realize that he has been rambling and probably saying too much to someone he just met “Ah geez I’m rambling aren’t I?” Asher awkwardly adjusts the collar of his sweater to which Ford would probably notice right away the jagged scar on the teens left hand.
(Please ignore my last ask I was wayyy too excited lol, anyways this is Asher the teenager I was talking about.)
“Hi! I heard that someone had Polydactylism like me I almost couldn’t believe it, I thought I was the only one! Especially with my mix of 6 and 7 fingers.”
"Ah, greetings!"
"Well… this is certainly a surprise! I knew polydactyly wasn’t exactly uncommon, but to encounter someone with a similar trait— that’s… quite remarkable!"
This is Stanford “Exo” Pines from my half baked au called Exo-Archivist so far its about Stanford willingly going into the portal to explore the multiverse learn everything he possibly can and hopefully go above and beyond any dimensional plain, he never called for Stanley so for all Stan knows his brother is thriving…it’s a better idea then the alternative which he refuses to believe.
I might have gone a little overboard with his design 😅
one off gag from my notes
As much as I lovelovelove Mystery Trio AUs- these three unhinged men should NEVER spend any amount of time together in their prime if you want any peace and quiet.
Someone merely mentions the ides of stealing *something* from a government facility? Stan's warming up the El Diablo that he's already taken the tags off; Ford somehow already has the blueprints to the building and Fiddleford has a handheld lock picking device that also knocks out the signal on surveillance cameras.
Ford finds it logical to use essentially chemical warfare on the guards they didn't know would be patrolling as he blows idk, fairy dust, in their faces. Stan notices that several of his personas' wanted posters are up in an office and he stuffs them in a paper shredder as they walk by not because he is embarrassed but because they weren't even good artist renditions of what he looked like. Fiddleford of course finds alien tech that the government officials are testing and pockets in, knowing it will come in handy for his next giant robot.
As they head back to the Shack Stan jokingly suggests knocking over a bank and Fiddleford nonchalantly says they don't need to, he built a printing press the other week. Ford nods, as if this is a completely reasonable response and Stan has never felt closer to his brother.
