The movement

When I got off work Thursday morning I got a message from my niece (my only irl kpop friend lol) that Wonho left Monsta X. I was devastated but if that's what he chose I'd stand by his choice... and then I heard just who was attacking his character and what they were saying and I saw red. PTSD from Hanbin's scandal flooded my mind and I spent the next twenty minutes in my running car at my work's parking lot searching the net in hopes this wasn't true.

There's been some people saying this won't bring Wonho back, that it's hopeless, stupid even... I honestly know getting Wonho back is a longshot, especially after SS announced that his contract was terminated, but if there's even just the smallest chance we can get him back in Monsta X we have to take it don't we?

Most of all though, this isn't just about getting Wonho back! This is about fighting for his voice and the voices of all idols. These kids sign these contracts when they're barely out of the womb in the hopes of becoming a celebrity, they sacrifice their youth for this, risk their health for this. yet malicious rumors with no facts backing them up can destroy all of their hard work in minutes.

For ten years now I've been apart of this community, I was around for scandal after scandal, I watched DBSK get torn apart and have JJY's reputations destroyed, I watched Jay Park get thrown out of Korea for stupid comments he made as a kid, I watched groups literally pass out because their companies road them into the dirt... and I watch Kim Hanbin his entire career fight for Ikon's place in YG only to be dropped because of the snake that went hard to kill TOP's sanity, to destroy V's reputation and who is now going after Wonho and Shownu.

I'm fighting because for ten years now I've seen humans torn apart by these baseless accusations, I'm fight because I don't want to see anymore people go through this and not have a voice to argue their side.

This isn't stans who just have feelings for an idol, this is a movement to change the very environment Idols have to work in.

We fight for Wonho because kpop needs to change, the very world needs to change.
