GOODNIGHT
December 8th, 1970: John adjudges his own accountability for the things he says or has said.
JOHN: We all say a lot of things that we don’t know what we’re talking about. I’m probably doing it now, I don’t know what I said. See, everybody takes you up on the words you said in 19— I’m just a guy who people ask what about things. I blab off, and some of it makes sense, some of it’s bullshit, some of it’s lies and some of it’s… God knows what I’m saying, you know? I felt it, you see. So when I felt it, it was like I was crucified. So I know what they’re talking about now.
Making a change from the Buckingham Nicks and Fleetwood Mac stuff I usually post, lol. I thought I’d upload these for anyone interested - not many of my followers, I know, but hopefully it’ll be seen in the right tags.
Basically, these aren’t my favourite Beatles books by any means but these are the ones I have a digital copy of. I’ve also included many, many uploads of magazine scans I bought off eBay years ago, as well as some other magazine PDFs I have, and the digipaks/booklets from The Beatles remasters in 2009.

Anyway shoutout to flamboyant or effeminate gay men, butch lesbians, scruffy lesbians, loud "obnoxious" queer musical theatre people, """uwu soft bean""" nonbinary people, people who use obscure labels, people who don't use labels at all, and people who use unusual pronouns. You're not cringe, you're not "fake queer", you're not a punchline to be laughed at, and you're not giving the LGBTQ+ community a bad name. Keep being your true authentic selves, we're all lucky you're here.
JOHN LENNON being interviewed by Bob Harris; April 18th, 1975.
can y’all just… like or reblog if y’all are poly-safe blogs
When Sherry Johnson was eleven, she found one day that she’s gonna marry a 20-year-old member of her church who had raped her. She became pregnant and in order to avoid investigation and criminal case, her family and church officials decided to make the girl a legal wife of this monster.
“My mom asked me if I wanted to get married, and I said, ‘I don’t know, what is marriage, how do I act like a wife?’” Johnson remembers today, many years later. “She said, ‘Well, I guess you’re just going to get married.’”
Johnson and her family also attended a conservative Pentecostal church and that other girls of a similar age periodically also married. One girl said when she was 10 she was raped by both a minister and a parishioner and later gave birth to a daughter. There were all documents confirming her and her child’s age, but still, the judge approved the marriage to end the rape investigation, telling her, “What we want is for you to get married.”
And nevertheless, America prefers to interfere in other countries’ internal affairs, like in Syria, calling it “defending freedom” rather than to change states’ laws and to protect American children from rape, coercion and molestation.
Today, Johnson is campaigning for a state law to stop underage marriage that has already become a norm in some states.
this is possibly my favourite scene from a hard days night. john playing around in the bath is what i live for
(Real pen the last picture)
It is important for EVERYONE to know how to help ANYONE. Not everyone can give them selves their medicine under every circumstance. Be educated, help out.
In the last year, i have gotten about five new violent allergies from foods i used to be able to eat. Next time i eat a fruit, my throat could close. I may not be able to inject myself. My boyfriend and i played with my trainer pen for like 30 minutes. He knows how to inject it. I know how. This is important.
