She watched him with an arched eyebrow as the door separating them finally opened. At first he seemed fine, but looking again and more closely Mei could see his tired look, his hands shaking. This was not normal! But she thought it best not to despair over it or show that she was worried. Maybe it would only get worse.

“How are you? I stopped to buy you some candy on the way!” She entered the apartment, leaving the bag with sweets on the dining table. “So! Do you have the things to prepare tea?”

She leaned against one of the kitchen counters as she waited for his response. It turns out she didn't even remember to worry about whether Nezha would have tea to make at his apartment or not.

I type one last message to him before leaving the room I share with MK at Pigsy's noodle shop. He was kind enough to let me stay here and not be alone in my parents' mansion. I head downstairs to at least get some headache medicine in case he needs it if the tea isn't enough, and then I ride my motorcycle to his apartment.

When I get there, I talk to the doorman who lets me in easily, since he already knows me. I go up in the elevator to his apartment floor, knocking on the door a few times.

“hEYYY LOTUS PRINCE, I'M HERE, OPEN IT.” I say as I knock on his door, hoping he'll open it for me.

I take two small steps back, my hands hidden in the pockets of my hoodie as I wait patiently with a smile plastered on my face.

Princess Iron Fan doesn't like anything or anyone touching her hair, so Wukong settles for making flower bracelets for her.
