just got my hands on the one piece manga and it infuriates me that zoro's name gets translated to zolo, who approved of this and why

he’s actually one of my all time favorite anime characters. he’s the only character i’ve ever heard say “it’s okay to run away” and he literally attacks extremely powerful antagonists who could easily kill him just because he doesn’t want kids to have to fight / mob to use his powers to hurt people.
