Shoutout to Sticks the Badger from Sonic Boom being canon to the main Sonic universe but this version of her character only appearing in Mario & Sonic at the Rio Olympic Games (2016), a single Japanese-exclusive webcomic, and getting a cameo mention in Sonic Frontiers. Apparently she was slated to appear in Sonic IDW but it just didn't work out. So now while she canonically exists, there's basically no canon record of her doing anything or appearing anywhere. Lmao

i like to think if the books were well written dovewing would recognize sunbeam is in a similar situation she was in with bumblestripe (a tom chasing after her for her affections when it's unrequited on sunbeam's part- at least for now from the excerpt) and have a talk to her about what she wants out of this situation, does she need tigerstar and cloverfoot to step in and send nightheart home, how long has nightheart been claiming to be her mate, etc. like maybe it's too early to say its wishful thinking when the book isn't out yet but god i hope at least ONE cat noticed how uncomfortable sunbeam was with him and asks if she's okay with what's going on and dovewing would be one of the best canidates for that.

Not a SHRED of romance on either side. Nightheart just wants to leave ThunderClan and Sunbeam’s just like “Sure, I’ll help” since he described everyone there as being as shitty as possible so that’s what she knows and she’s trying to be a good friend. Like I really hope that the moment that Nightheart is in the clan they’re gonna try to first push romance between eachother to try and quell any suspicion and maybe make themselves interested i this then it’s not gonna work so after like a month or too they break up but are still besties and Sunbeam makes up with Lightleap and Blazefire in the mean time and then like, we know Blazefire and Lightleap are a thing but what if Lightleap’s bi and polly and Blazefire’s cool with her having other mates too and then Lightleap and Sunbeam end up being girlfriends like a year later?.?

FINALLY someone who sees Squirrelflight the same way I do, not as the saint the fandom makes her out to be, but a character whose in the wrong and needs to get her shit together. I'm sorry but she and Brambleclaw have issues sure, but Bramble isn't just the one in the wrong. The fandom treats him like he's the devil (they treat Ashfur the same way, when I personally think his arc was interesting taking into account he found his mother as dog bait when he was a child and was basically left parentless, he and ferncloud took it very differently, fern going and becoming a mother to everyone and Ash trying to find love somewhere else and then getting rejected. Did he take it too far yeah, he did ofc but it's interesting to look at the psychology behind it) this fandom treats Squirrel and Leaf like their saints and can do no wrong but from where I see it. . .they cause plenty of the problems. Like why didn't they tell bramble about the three? How hard would that have been to tell squirrels mate, someone she trusts, what's going on?
since we talking about the morality/ goodness of Squirrelflight and Leafpool (and Brambleclaw and Ashfur) now I thought I would group these together and just ramble about Squirrel and Leafpool for a bit
I personally think that Squirrelflight and Leafpool are good people who had to make hard decisions that would inevitably hurt people in the hopes of protecting each other and their loved ones.
These two live in basically a cult and had to do some crazy shit to protect Leaf and her kits, and I don't blame them for what they chose to do in the situation they were put in. Were there ways that could have possibly been better? Ya probably, but they aren't evil for choosing to do what they did.
Also Squilf hurt the 3 by not telling them they were adopted, but also I feel like that's where her crimes end. Like Brambleclaw has been shown to be an abusive prick so I wouldn't blame Squirrel for not wanting to tell him the truth, especially when he's Thunderclan's deputy. I have a hard time believing he would have gone along with their plan, and he probably would have done something cruel and stupid if they told him. Yes him finding out did hurt him so I guess that's a crime in a way, but i really dont think Squirrel had any other options in that department.
I think out of Squirrel and Leaf, leaf is much more in the wrong here (love her and her bad decisions tho hehe). She had like some of the most illegal babies ever due to some really bad decisions (even if its unfair that her relationship was illegal) and then she let her sister take on most of the responsibility of dealing with her mistakes. Squirrelflight could have had a chill scandal-less life, but instead she took in her sister's kits and lied to the clan and her mate all to protect Leaf, when it wasn't even her problem and Leaf didn't stop her. Leaf didn't take on much responsibility for her mistakes, she just let Squif do that. I understand why but still if there's anyone to be mad it its Leaf and her bad decision making skills lol
I really love how complex their situation is, its probably one of the most interesting things that has happened in warriors. Its complicated, and the characters involved are good people who made bad decisions, and hard decisions. They wanted to protect the people they loved and it inevitably failed. I love a good tragic drama.

Squirrelflight girl get out of there…
AU Idea where Squirrelflight decides to leave TC and join Skyclan during ASC Era!! Leafstar welcomes her and Squirrelflight learns how to be happy around her new clanmates . Bramblestar steps down as leader. She sees her kin at Gatherings. The TC warriors have too much respect for Squirrelflight to really hate her for her decision, so it’s always warm welcomes. Squirrelflight will soon be retiring to the elders den, so Leafstar isn’t worried about the affections Squilf still has for TC warriors. Jayfeather understood her decision the most, still being well tuned in to her emotions and seeing how obviously unhappy she was, with the state Bramblestar was in and how he treated her after everything.

This was fun to draw! Love da expressions and chaos in a single picture, Shadowsight and Sunbeam are pda, Lightleap is loosing her shit. Blazefire has mixed feelings, Berryheart is also loosing her shit, her husband Sparrowtail is try to calm her down while Gullswoop is invested! And poor tiger & dove don't know what to do, and at last, Spireclaw is cheering for his sister with his supportive girlfriend fringewhisker.
On the topic of maps, there are way too many maps about the same characters and ships and scenes. Ashfur, Mapleshade, Hollyleaf, Ivypool, and Hawkfrost are on their 100000th map. The ideas are so overused that people are starting to make AUs around these characters (ex. Think the Cheeteh Z maps like cowboy mapleshade, bramblefur, hawkstorm, and hollyfawn). Instead of modifying the same characters, I wish they would make more maps about underrated and underrepresented characters/ships/scenes, especially since there probably are plenty of songs that fit.
Like, i guess ashfur and hollyleaf are popular, fun to animate, and many songs fit them but im sure people will still give your map attention if you made it about an underrated character. Didn’t someone make a map about daisy? That got attention. I don't want to hate on the map community. They're just trying to put together animated projects for fun. But idk, there are some characters/ships/scenes that are way too underrated and deserve their own map too.
