This is a little something I made for the moderation team at the Tangled Discord! @glowamber, myself, @ajoyfultrashcollection, @1a-lchemist, @aquaquadrant, @becauseimrichandican, @midnightsdarkangel, @crimsontoska, @alchemicalvariable, and @manikhan2001 and of COURSE the one who brought it all together @vikingmera (there are a couple others who are currently inactive for life stuff and they’ll get added later!!!)

I really wanted to showcase our individual strengths and personalities as well as show that we are lighthearted and poke fun at ourselves (and eachother) a lot! We’re kinda like a little family!

Additionally I’d like to add how honored I am every day to work with these fantastic people. You might not expect it, but it’s sometimes a very difficult job moderating a server so large especially when you have actual Tangled the Series crew members who pop in from time to time! Our team works together effortlessly and has nothing but love and compassion for one another and everything we do for the server. It’s a tough job moderating, and we don’t get paid, but it’s definitely not a thankless job. Bringing young fans (and older fans alike) a safe and well moderated space where they can discuss Tangled the Series and sometimes interact with crew members is probably the best thanks that we can ever get!  

Thank you guys for being so awesome and thanks to every member of the discord server for helping us maintain such a fun little community.

Hello, Tangled the Series Fans!

   We are Project OBSIDIAN (PO), a group fan-project working on expanding Varian’s story. We are creating a Varian-centric fan comic to explore questions not addressed in the series, starting with season 1 and running until the end of season 3. Our plan is to take concepts and work with ideas that fit in-canon to explore his character to its fullest degree.      We will be breaking the project into episodes or chapters, each being a maximum of 24 pages in length as well as short 9 panel strips. Our primary mission of this project is to allow Tangled the Series fans to have a voice in this character and to have fun with helping him grow to his fullest potential!       OCs may be included as cameos, and AUs may be explored where applicable, whether that be through dreams, visions, or thoughts. Any ideas brought forth are reviewed by everyone on the project, and all feedback is appreciated!   Thank you for reading this far!  We look forward to working with you all in the future! TTS/RTA OC - Anya of Ingvarr

Had the inspiration to do an OC from the kingdom of Ingvarr!

Her name is Anya, she’s about 15 years old, and is a mechanical engineer who helped to build the Iron Lion. Her outfit was designed as a combination between the Ingvarr engineer and warrior uniforms.

(And she may also be a potential soulmate for Varian (romantic or platonic, I’ll let people head canon whichever they wish). Honestly though, the boy needs peers who share his interests, and it seems like mechanical engineering is pretty big in Ingvarr. Varian could probably find some kindred spirits there!)

Okay, so, first things first. This is from a starlight brigade AU (kinda), mainly based on ideas by @ghosta-r The design and concept of Voidcore Strive is hers, while the other character, Vaya, is mine (more info on her coming soon.) and after some discussion, we figured ‘what if she was the one who messed with his core’. The short version of the story here is that Vaya works for the Void and was the one responsible for turning Strive into this, and given her personal grudge against him and the brigade, she could only accept and give her best. Maybe here she is even talking in the brigade through intercoms to taunt them further. Now, for this drawing, I also tried emulating Ghostar’s art style as part of a challenge hence why it might look a bit different to my usual stuff. Anyways, I got more stuff coming pretty soon, so see ya around!
