When you listen to a subliminal, your conscious mind doesn’t really hear it. It’s like your brain is on autopilot while the real work is happening under the surface. The audio will usually contain affirmations that are layered with music or sounds, so they blend in and slip right past your conscious thoughts, landing directly into your subconscious where all your beliefs and assumptions live.
But aren't they counterintuitive, Mercy? Since you're listening to them to get what you want when the law is all about already having what you want?
GIRL, NO. Not even in the slightest. Here’s the thing: the affirmation isn’t “I will have blue eyes,” it’s “I have blue eyes.” Do you get that? It’s about already having it. That’s the key to manifesting—assuming and persisting that it’s already yours, not hoping for it to happen sometime in the future. It’s claiming it now, in the present.
When you listen to subliminals, you’re feeding your subconscious that truth—you already have it. So when it starts believing that your desires are already true, guess what happens? Your 3D world starts shifting to match that. The law of assumption is always working, whether you realize it or not.

Mercifulstate I want to claim to be the most beautiful woman in the entire world for the last 750 years, but I don't see it in 3D and it's hard for me to believe. It's even harder for me to believe, especially when I'm in front of gay men or when there are many beautiful women around me, so I limit myself from going to those places because I feel like I won't have the expected results

can unconscious thoughts manifest if I don't notice them (that's why they are unconscious) and therefore don't deny them? for example, I think that I will never have some sickness, but I unconsciously think about what symptoms that sickness has and I get thoughts like "I don't have those symptoms, so I don't have that sickness", "certain symptoms mean a person has that sickness".
Nahh don’t stress about unconscious thoughts like that! Manifestation is all about what you consciously accept as true. Just because a random thought crosses your mind—even if it’s unconscious—doesn’t mean it’s automatically going to manifest. What matters is what you assume and persist in. If you believe “I will never have that sickness,” then that’s what comes true.
In the words of Neville Goddard —“An assumption, though false, if persisted in, will harden into fact.” The key word here is persisted in! You’re not persisting in those unconscious thoughts, so they don’t have the power to create anything in your reality. Just keep assuming and believing that you’re perfectly healthy, and that’s the only thing that will manifest!

I have manifested so many things so often by drawing the version of myself i wanna manifest.
Think an alter ego of yours, how do they look? Draw it. Draw this character whenever you're bored. Draw them doing/having whatever you are trying to manifest.
My favourite is drawing this persona and around her, I write as if I was another person looking at her:
"She's so pretty and honestly I just feel the need to approach her because she e's just that absolutely beautiful"
"Did you hear that she's famous and... "
"She has it ALL, for example, ..."
and I go into so much detail and seriously as I write, I start to feel the feeling of being that version of me. It's really cool and I've manifested a lot with it.
Finally, after almost two years, I found what really works for me.
I finally learned and understood what truly helps me manifest everything I want. I'm sharing this because it might help someone who is in the same situation I was in—until yesterday. So, here’s my story with manifestation.
First, during the pandemic, I was a Law of Attraction girl. I tried a lot of methods and techniques, stayed positive every second of the day, but nothing seemed to work. I also discovered shifting during that time, so I've known about shifting since 2020. I tried everything, but nothing worked. I had a lucid dream here and there, but never experienced a real shift to a different reality. For a long time, I believed nothing would ever work.
Years later, I discovered non-dualism, which actually made things worse because I didn’t understand it and thought I was failing. Then, I learned about the Law of Assumption, which I felt much more comfortable with and found easier to understand than non-dualism. But again, I tried everything, and nothing seemed to work. I even felt anxious using techniques like robotic affirmations—but I kept doing them over and over.
I realized I was stuck in a very specific cycle: I’d start trying to manifest something, already thinking it would take forever to show up in the 3D—or maybe not show up at all. By the third or fourth day, I’d start to feel demotivated, anxious, frustrated, and sad because I wasn’t seeing results in the 3D.
This week was tough. I felt frustrated with manifestation and shifting again, and I also got a bad grade in college. Out of desperation, I went back to robotic affirmations. But then I stopped. Yesterday, I took a moment to reflect and asked myself: what actually helps me?
That’s when I realized that every time I had manifested something almost instantly, it was because I used just one affirmation and then let it go. I completely forgot about it. That’s how I manifested my brother (yes, I manifested my younger brother), that’s how I manifested my dog, and yesterday, that’s how I manifested a message I had been waiting for.
Now I understand what the bloggers mean when they say it’s only up to you—that YOU are the key. I finally see how unique each of our journeys is. I was so focused on what worked for others that I didn’t even consider what worked for me. I wanted to be like those people who affirm all day and get everything they want, or those who completely ignore the 3D. But in reality, the 3D actually helps me manifest, because it helps me let go—it distracts me, and then the manifestation shows up (like the message I wanted, which came the same day).
So, my advice is: look within. Forget about the techniques, the methods, the meditations. Focus on yourself. Focus on what works for you, on what has worked in the past. That helped me so much. I feel such relief knowing what works for me—I finally know exactly what to do now.
I hope this helps someone out there. Please keep going. Don’t give up. You have so much to do in this universe, and you deserve everything you want.

thank you for answering. i just wanted to clarify. 1)I thought that assumptions couldn't manifest thoughts instantly, but I heard that assumptions could manifest something even if we deny it, so I took it into account, and I don't know, what I assumed: that assumptions could manifest thoughts instantly, or couldn't. 2)as for the action that makes thoughts true thing, when I did that action myself, I would say some good things, and probably I would do so not to trigger myself, cause then I didn't know if i had an assumption that the action could make thoughts true.
as for the thoughts compiling, I sent the previous ask because I was afraid that they had started to compile and to stop it I had to use thoughts, but thoughts that contradict compiling would also compile. that's why I'm so afraid that the unwanted thing could manifest.
is it possible that I didn't have 1) and 2) assumptions?
Hello again! No one else can decide what’s right for you when it comes to assumptions—it’s completely up to you. To keep it simple: if you decide something will happen, it will. If you decide it won’t, then it won’t! It really is that simple. If you ever catch yourself thinking of a a negative assumption, just affirm something like, "Nope! That’s not true, and it never will be." Because at the end of the day, what you assume to be true is what manifests. You’re always in control! Not other people, not your thoughts, not even your assumptions. YOU get to decide if that assumption will manifest or not.
And to answer your question, yes, it’s definitely possible that you never actually had those assumptions in the first place. Overthinking can make things feel real when they’re not. Instead of analyzing what you assumed or didn’t, just decide right now: "Only what I want manifests, and nothing else." That’s all that matters. Hope this'll help <3

Hii! Whenever I try to manifest something,I can't help it but see it separate from me. I visualize and do all the things but after that I don't feel like the person who has it. The reason you feel disconnected from your desire is because you're viewing it as something separate from you. Instead of forcing yourself to "embody" it right away, try taking small steps that make it feel more natural. For example, ask yourself, "How would I think, feel, and act if I already had it?" Start making choices and thinking thoughts that align with that version of you, even in small ways!
It's okay to have moments of doubt, but don't let them bring you down. Simply acknowledge them calmly and do what you were doing! Affirm things like "It's already mine" or "I always get what I want" and let those beliefs sink in over time. I know you've got this! <3

I’ve been a part of the subliminal/LOA/void state community for a while now. When I was just a young lady, around 10-13 years old, I was extremely insecure, and wanted to change a lot about myself — which then I stumbled into subliminals in 2019. I was so obsessed with the thought of changing myself, I never thought of doing my research about why these subliminals existed, and why were they so loved by people who were like me. Fast forward, I barely got any results — I was bummed and felt really upset that I couldn't get any, and eventually gave up. By 2022-2023, I dove into the world of the void state and the law of assumption. It was like magic for me, a place where I can change everything overnight? Count me in! And because of my obsession and lack of research, there I was again. I went through tumblr posts, reading success stories, techniques, and even a how to enter the void state? I faced a ton of setbacks and took a long break. I ended up forgetting and lived my life for a while.
I recently rediscovered the community, and now with a renewed spirit, I was determined to try again. For so long, I've never realised the answer was so simple.. I am the void state.
