wtfock is going on?!?!?! is it gonna be zoë or robbe’s season?!? i know some people who were extras said they only filmed zoe and sense scenes so that would mean it was zoë’s season but also when julie didn’t want people to find out og season 4 was about sana she had tarjei and henrik film a fake scene to confuse people (i highly doubt that’s what wtfock did but you know, it could be) also the official instagram has been posting a layout/collage with all the main characters and they’ve all been posted except for robbe (so it could be a collage leading up to the announcement of his season) lastly, the header on the website is obviously a sign and really weird if it was actually zoë’s season, but if they are pulling a skam españa, they would probably change the header instead of just putting one, no? idk i’m just so confused and ready to find out who’s season it is
EDIT: a twitter account says that the first clip will drop at 7:30 pm on monday which i think leads to robbe even more since all the noorhelm remakes have had their first clip drop in the morning (almost all of them featured someone making out) and all of the isak seasons have started at a party (which would make more sense for 7:30 pm)
but also i’m definitely reading into this too much
friendly reminder before you start hating on sander: everyone is fighting a battle you don’t know about. be kind. always. 💕
wait is the main that girl who posted the photo with lola last season?!??
shay deserves her own season, but like a joint season with her and tyler could be fucking awesome. if they both had a love story, but shay is the isak of her romance and tyler is the even of his??? powerful
day 8: favorite clip from season one➝ watskeburt?!
this clip made me fall in love with skam nl even more than i already had. the clip is so fun, and it really reminds me of something i would do with my friends. it feels so normal and hilarious and just made my heart warm. i love the friendship these three have, and this clip was such a fun addition to their incredible dynamic. also, it introduced me to the song “watskeburt?!” which is totally one of my favorite songs on my skam playlist. when i think of how much i love skam nl, i think of clips like these, because they make the show so unique and perfect.
i know that since season two is going to now going to be a isak storyline wtfock is definitely gonna get more hype on here and i’m actually here for it. like when i watched wtfock season one there was literally no content on here for jana and it made me so mad cause it was the third remake i watched and i was so excited to see posts about it. now i’m just excited cause we’ll have more robbe content cause i love my son 🥰🥰
robbe + his feelings for sander
I think there is a more conscious reasoning behind the absence of parents in Isak's life, specifically in drawing the parallel between his mother and Even (his mother having mental health issues is also established in season one.) I was a little confused by his relationship with his father, and think that it still feels in some way that the lack of parents is contrived so that he can live with Eskild. But compared to Eva and Noora, the show really makes an attempt to immerse us in the way that Isak sees his parents, which is distant from him. They definitely play a larger role thematically even if they are present less than Eva's mom for example. Not Isak's parents, but I think the scene in episode 9 with Magnus talking about his mom is really great.
How does SKAM's treatment of Isak's parents differ from its treatments of Eva and Noora's parents?
This has actually always been one of the aspects of the show that has most confused me. Noora and Eva (and later Isak) all have relationships with their families that almost feel too hands-off? Of course, this type of situation does exist but I do feel that with Noora, for example, in the US two parents who "don't love" their high school age daughter, still wouldn't leave her to sublet an apartment with random adults. William and Eva both seem to always have an empty apartment, which maybe feels a little more realistic but also convenient. I think until Sana's season, it was easier for the show to remove the focus from the parental relationships and make it more about pure teenage stuff. But it does sometimes take me out of the show a bit because Noora specifically is living SUCH an adult style life that it makes me forget that she's 16? 17?
How are you feeling about SKAM's representation of family life so far? Do the familial relationships you've seen or you've heard reference to feel realistic or no?
