Bike Mountaineering - sometimes the best way to get to the trailhead.

Bike fishing, Amsterdam style photographed by Mary Lou Lannen Bosworth. The canals are apparently about three meters deep: one meter water, one meter mud, and one meter bikes with Amsterdam’s Water Authority fishing up between 12,000 to 15,000 bikes a year out of the city’s canals.

Two worlds collide

Note the cover on top of the dynamo. It's a Peugeot women's bike, so they added a cover to make sure skirts don't get trapped between wheel and dynamo roller. 

Mountain bike trails posted in the town centre. Complete with distance, difficulty, and altitude gain. Well done!
