queer people have to fight every day for their orientations to be recognised as real and valid.

by saying ‘if sex isn’t real, there’s no same-sex attraction’ J.K Rowling is sitting in her position of cishet privilege and dangling legitimacy over us like a threat, trying to manipulate queer people into abandoning our trans siblings to save our own necks.

It is with total sadness I hear the news that the founder of the Gay Men’s Health Crisis, and ACT-UP, writer and playwright Larry Kramer has died at the age of 84, we are surely poorer without him. Every gay person in America owes him our very lives.
