Price realized 37 years in that he's been all over the world, but he hasn't actually seen much of it. He wants to travel the world. Go hiking in the mountains just to enjoy the view without being shot at. Go to a cafe and savor his coffee without scouting out a target. Look out during a flight just to enjoy the sight of the clouds below him without thinking about RPGs. He wants to curl up in bed with Nikolai and just enjoy his company without a transaction. He decides to take his big Russian husband to travel the world with him. Price starts a travel blog to keep his boys updated on their trips.
Ghost is struggling to adapt to retirement. He's not used to having free time, always going on missions or training recruits. Something. Anyways, he gets really into sculpting. He already has experience with mask making, and this isn't much different. He'll use any kind of material. Wood? Widdling is basically sculpture. Clay? A bit frail, but he can work with this. Stone? They now have a massive statue in the front lawn. Ghost can also fuck it up with paper mache. He is on pinata duty for forever, and he'll make them of anything. One of Gaz's kids is really into sea bears? He can work with that.
Gaz has three kids, a wife, and a chunky cat that he takes on trips with a backpack. He hosts monthly dinners for the team to catch up. One of his kids called Ghost "Uncle Goose", and now all of the Garrick kids call Ghost "Goose". Farah gets to be the cool aunt that teaches the kids things that she shouldn't be teaching them. Price definitely takes the role of the dad that sits in the armchair and takes loud open mouthed naps during their gatherings. Gaz wonders why he keeps hosting these dinners.
Soap and Ghost got married shortly after Ghost retired. Johnny was not expecting to come home to a house full of new sculptures, but he completely accepted the change. He helped Ghost renovate the guest room into an art studio with his drawing stuff on one side and Ghost's sculpting stuff on another. A few of their pieces even made it into galleries.
Nikolai, obviously, retired the second Price did. He travels with Price regularly, but likes to teach a mechanics class at the local community college in his free time. Of course he shows off his black hawk to the students, but they can only tinker with the cheaper aircrafts (as if any of them cost less than a million). His classes fill up fast and he has the reputation for the cool teacher.
Greetings from Saturn! I have a prompt for you: Sergeant Price being an absolute nerd and yapping to Mac about the different plants he has or has seen while taking apart more of his pens.
I like to think that whenever his mouth is busy then so are his hands, which is admirable but dangerous at the same time because— you want to try and focus on what he’s talking about but can’t help worrying about whatever he’s touching.
And he switches topics bad. He could be talking about Captain America and then start talking about how he was made as war propaganda for kids.
Mac should've been finished completing the stupid paperwork in front of him for the day, keywords - should've been. But John had popped in to ask him about something roughly 46 minutes ago and now the lad is sitting across from him, dismantling his fourth pen so far, the one that used to be in Mac's hand and he's going on about Kurt Russell's influence in the production of the 1993 Western, Tombstone.
"-he'd give Cosmatos a shot list every night for what they were shooting the next day but let him present himself on set as the director so that Russell wouldn't outshine him. I mean, Cosmatos was hired as the director so it was his job to do but he just wasn't in a position to take on such a thing, especially for a movie that was so highly anticipated."
MacMillan nods, glancing at the spring that previously belonged in his pen which is now in John's hands. He bites back any comment he thinks about making, he isn't going to shoo the lad off. He'll sit through as much cowboy nonsense as John wants to spit at him.
"Understandable, Russell let the other bloke huv his moment. Very humble of him."
John grins, sitting down the spring and grabbing yet another one of Mac's pens to dismantle.
"Exactly, even Kilmer credits Russell as being responsible for the film's succession. Through acting and his behind-the-scenes directorial actions. The film wasn't completely accurate historically, Costner's Wyatt Earp in 94 was more historically accurate but it wasn't received nearly as well by the public as Tombstone. It might've been because it was released after Tombstone and audiences didn't want to see the same story again so soon but I think it's because Kevin Costner and Dennis Quaid are just boring as fuck."
He snorts, leaning back in his chair as he crosses his arms and watches the sergeant animatedly explain his views on the two Westerns.
"That a can agree wae, Quaid shouldnae be forgiven fir Jaws 3. Costner's performance in Robin Hood offended me an am no even a fuckin Englishman."
John offers him an appreciative look. It's not often he sees John talking to people like this, the younger man had once let slip that his dad was never one for tolerating John's constant prattling. Mac wouldn't lie, John could talk the hind legs aff a donkey but he'd listen to him go on any day so long as the lad was comfortable enough to do so. Besides, he had learnt a lot about Tombstone in the past fifty minutes.
"Did you know that in Jaws 3-"
That was on him for mentioning another movie.
Ghost staying with the MacTavish family during the holidays, and one morning, he leaves Soap's room looking a mess. His hair is sticking up at every angle, his clothes are wrunkled to fuck and there are lines down his face from where the pillowcase has bunched up during the night.
One of Soap's teenage nephews sees him and immediately mutters, "Nap coded and sleep pilled."
Ghost looks at him like that one picture of Limmy for a solid twenty seconds before stumbling back into Johnny's childhood bedroom and going the fuck back to sleep.
Soap eye study.
Uploading some older art I've done some time ago bc I think it's cute and I might redraw it sooner or later.
I'm not to happy with some of it but I still love it. I originally made this lil guy as a oc for CoD MW2 (kind of like a service dog hybrid for Simon Riley specifically) I might revamp the concept eventually but for now this is all I have

Ghost makes INCREDIBLY uncomfortable jokes, when he’s feeling petty. Like..
Say they’re hiding in a small space, getting away from enemies
“Me an’ my brother used to hide like this from my old man.”
They all just look at him. Price- who had repeatedly told him to knock it off. Just stares, unamused.
Gaz is like “oh.. uh. Sorry about that mate.”, always reacts like that. If he uses it to get his way, gaz will give in first.
And soap DGAF! Looks the man who just trauma dumped on him. Dead in the eyes and in a fed up tone, “steam’n Jesus stop doing tha’,”
if ghost actually wanted to talk. Of it was just them, if it was him being vulnerable, Ofcourse they’d listen. Soap, price and gaz, (price is one of only people who knows the full story. Not even soap knows it all)
But it’s clear when he’s taking the piss. He says it with a smile in his voice. And looks incredibly proud of himself. And they all HATE it.
He did this with Farah when they were on overwatch (MW3) and she matched his freak. Convo went something like this
Price: “one wrong move; and I’ll put a hole through you (talking to Shepard)”
Ghost: “my dad used to say that to me.”
Farah: “I watched someone do that to my dad,”
Ghost: “nice.”
Farah: “nice.”
