Imagine Hanzo Hasashi not allowing you to keep a pet. He's very much all for discipline and order, a pet will just be a distraction. When he announces that, you and even Takeda sigh sadly - Master Hasashi is too serious sometimes. You and Takeda make up a masterplan on how to snuggle the pet in and keep it hidden from Hanzo... which fails instantly once he catches you two hiding them in Takeda's jacket. You guiltily show the little friend and look defeated. As the pet walks up to Hanzo, he cant help but smile, squat down and pet them. You and Takeda just look at each other with raised eyebrows. "I guess this one can stay... no more!"

Falling for Hanzo:

Hanzo is actively against the idea of moving on, content to let his legacy be the students he trains. Needless to say he won’t take kindly to flirting of any kind, so the only path to a relationship is friendship. He, quite understandably, needs time to process his tumultuous feelings, the ripple affects they could cause and the minefield of guilt that comes with any growing affection. A process that could genuinely take years. Talk about a slow burn.
