Loved this movie so much when it came out! The effects were amazing. It wasn't just your standard "animation over live-action" movie, which had been done many times before. For the first time, these animated characters had actual depth; they seemed to inhabit the live-action scenes instead of floating over it. It was also the first time in a long time a widely released U.S. animated movie was targeted toward a more mature audience.
Scott C. has done another great job, picking one of the most tension filled moments of the movie and putting an innocuous looking spin on it.
“No toon can resist the old Shave-and-a-Haircut trick.”
Bucky, the little Black Cat, joins you for a bit of Trick-or-Treating with this roomy tote bag. Great for holding a lot of swag on Halloween.
Aloha! Here’s my latest Calabash comic strip featured in today’s Honolulu @staradvertiser newspaper 😊 I’m not the first person to do this gag. There are multiple posts that talk about it, and I remember seeing a local meme on the many uses of a slipper (flip-flops for you mainlanders) in Hawai‘i but couldn’t find it until this morning when I wrote ‘Slippah’ instead of ‘Slipper’ 😊
•Have a great day off for those who get one. Keep smiling and stay safe, all! 😊
