Day twelve of wanting fem writers to put x fem reader tags in fem reader fics

Eddie: "It's really muggy out today"
You: "I swear to God if I go outside and all our mugs are on the lawn, I'm leaving you."
Eddie: *sips coffee from a bowl*
Every day it still blows my mind that I have created a small pocket where people can feel welcome and enjoy the stuff I write. It's really weird but in a good way and I'm really bad at expressing my feelings through text but I'm glad I make you guys feel welcome and have a space that's just for the fellas and my gender fluid/non binary pals because I get it, the fanfic community is dominated by fem reader stuff--- we are getting off topic.
It's also wild that I have made genuine friends because of this and like that's crazy because I came here thinking "oh I'm not going to have a lot of followers" because I came with the only motivation of wanting to share my writing and that hasn't changed at all but I'm now writing while not in a deep depression, I'm actually happy and im making money from doing this???? Like wow, insane.
It's been seven months and one accidental blog reset but I'm here and happier than ever.
Thanks guys

UGH SOMEBODY SEDATE ME

If one more person labels a fic “AFAB reader,” (assigned female at birth for those who are unfamiliar) when they mean “she/her, cisgender, heterosexual woman” I am finding the nearest interstate and throwing myself into traffic.
I have seen an increasing number of writers on tumblr using “afab” as a catch all for when they are writing from the perspective of a woman, or fem aligned perspective.
The tag f!reader IS THERE FOR A FUCKING REASON. The terms AFAB and AMAB are often used by trans and non-binary people to discuss anatomy that they may be uncomfortable with. It was a way for non-binary people to disclose physical characteristics without tying gender identity into it, and when you use it improperly it defeats the entire purpose of the terms.
So, unless you are writing from a gender neutral perspective where anatomy of the reader is important, stick to fem!reader or male!reader.
reminder that cis women aren’t the only people who are afab, please stop using afab as a replacement for female reader or she/her pronouns bc all you’re doing is using a term for trans people (generally) incorrectly and consequently making us really dysphoric and uncomfortable, i will never shut up about this i’ll die on this hill, and fuck you if you refuse to change or learn
