I still stand notion that Ginjo never being a twist villain and genuinely wanting to help chigo since the beginning would have been a stronger plot twist because an adult that wants to selflessly help a teenager in Bleach without a hidden motive is such a rare occurrence that the mere concept of it is so rare that it outdoes any other story structure Kubo could have come up with.

It’s like a couple staying fateful to each other in a soap opera until the very end; it’s something you see every blue moon.
