I love the x-men so much because that's just what leftist infighting is like! that's literally all it is! xavier is a sellout and they all hate him but he's the only one with any money. everyone complains about "they keep switching sides and dating each other it's so fucking confusing" like my dudes have you never been a part of any socialist organisation, ever. then people will go "magneto is so strong how has he not killed a bunch of teenagers" HE DOESN'T WANT TO KILL THEM! this started in a goddam basement over coffee he does not want to hurt them he just wants them to shut up and listen and will fling cars to do so
"If tampons should be free, then so should my diabetes meds."
Yes? Yes they should be? Your life-saving medication that you need in order to live for a condition you were born with should be given to you at no cost?
some days you cannot help but pity some people
Had an art block so ofc I went back to draw them
batman (2016) #103

You gotta love Damian, man.
Bro's family is falling apart, his house is gone, his siblings won't talk to his father, he is fresh out of grandfathers, and he's alone with a Father that doesn't understand him and forces him to go to a school where they bully him...
And mf is like 'Fuck this shit, I'm reading Naruto'
guess who just learned how to make glitter gifs. THIS GUY
Damian Wayne goes to medical school to become a doctor and IMMEDIATELY the rouge gallery tries to indoctrinate him into being evil.
It’s not even that they know he’s Robin, it’s just that they think it’d be hilarious if they made Brucie Wayne’s son evil.

So now i'm just going to try and make a masterlist here. Just to try and organise all of these posts. The keyword here being try.

sorry if you've answered similar asks or have a similar post I can't find but I don't have any comics to read right now so I was thinking of reading the ghostmaker ones because you post about them a lot but I actually have no idea which ones and what names... do you have a list perhaps?
Hi, anon!
I'm really glad my posts have encouraged you to read ghostmaker's comics, it's just like that saying, madness shared is madness multiplied or something like that...
I don't have a proper list, but @thepineconelord does
I personally highly recommend you start by reading the ones written by his creator, James Tynion IV, so:
Batman v3 (2016) #102-105 <- his introduction
Batman v3 (2016) #106-117 <- he shows up later in this arc but it's great
And Batman v3 2021 annual
These comics are my all time favorites, and the most solid writing he has in my opinion
After these, if you want to, you can jump straight to reading Batman: The Knight (2022), which is written by Chip Zdarsky, who has his own version of the character and of his backstory with bruce... I prefer the og version, but I'm fond of this one, it has its moments
I hope you like it, and if you do, feel free to tell me about it, I love talking about my boy
I’m a bad person so I’m not even going to pretend or sugarcoat my words
Antisemitic students facing the consequences of their actions mean NOTHING to me
I’m not even going to fake a little “aw that’s such a human rights violation” because 1) the human rights violation didn’t actually start, nobody was deported yet for protests and 2) the human rights violation started when they didn’t allow Jews to go to class
A lot of you are privileged enough not to know
But some of us do
I’m poor
I have to face the consequences of my actions everyday (and more) because of poverty
This is life
For culture day, Israelis can’t wear their flag like everyone else
We aren’t like other people
We can’t pretend anymore for the sake of living and surviving
The atmosphere of Universities have been dull and bleak since October 7th
But now that gentiles are reaping what they sowed, suddenly injustice matters again
I’m not saying “an eye for an eye”
I’m saying “you made your bed so lay in it”
We all make our own choices
A lot of Jews chose to wear their Magen Davids which they were intimidated into not wearing every single day. That choice results in antisemitism and we accept that and deal with it. It means losing friends, job restriction, being at risk of assault everyday, etc.
Some Jews chose their comfort and safety and sided with Hamasniks who used their bodies to block Jewish students from going to class. It makes them look like a “good person” (the definition of good means supporting and enabling the harassment of Jews now) and they get to laud themselves an anti genocide hero. Unfortunately another result of that decision means having your face be eaten later on.
Grants being cut is a deadly blow that has a lot of people scared and scrambling
Antisemites who have been hiding their face, who have been terrorizing Jewish students and the few who stand with us, who have made the environment completely unlivable for Jews, are now in the process of being deported
They never thought the day would come where they would face any sort of consequence
They thought they could just continue to scream at Jews, call us slurs, call us every bad word in the book, vandalize the homes of Jewish professors and employees, storm events and make it about Palestine, throw red paint everywhere, rip down hostage posters, write antisemitic slogans everywhere, all that jazz (and this is just the tip of the iceberg) because they hadn’t faced any backlash for hating Jews, instead they were encouraged and empowered for doing so
Now they are finally tasting it
Now they’re scared
.1% of what we’ve been enduring and maybe less
I don’t care
I can’t care for everyone
I cannot care for someone who calls for my death and I refuse to
And get this
Antisemites being deported by right wingers isn’t a measure of good or bad
It’s the first time antisemites have realized they aren’t protected from their actions
That their antisemitism comes with a cost
Our fates are intertwined with right wingers not just because we were abandoned by the Left and Center
But also because this flavor of antisemitism comes with anti Americanism right next to it
Of course right wingers won’t let it slide
These protests aren’t just filled with support for Jew hating, extremist groups
The slogan goes “Death to Israel, Death to America”
That’s why we are going to see some sort of justice for ourselves
You don’t have to like it but it’s going to happen and even though the atmosphere for Jews will be worse, most of us don’t give a fuck
They hate us what’s new?
Maybe Jews can go to class now and not have to sit in a room full of people who get to taunt us and mock us and call for our deaths as a glorified hobby, who ruin our reputations by labeling us as ZioNazis, who go out of their way to poke at us and get a reaction to make us look bad
Sorry this doesn’t come clean but it’s here and it will help

Batfam and their relationship with the vigilante alter egos:
Bruce wanted to have some sort of conflict with Batman, and to some extent he got what he asked for. The only problem is that the general public decided that the conflict he had with Batman was the divorce™. And although it feels very weird having yourself as your ex, Bruce finds a twisted pleaser at criticizing Batman's life (or parenting, mostly parenting) choices.
Dick, contrary, following one of his impulses of teenage maximalism, decided to be on the opposite part of the spectrum: he loves, read wants, Nightwing in every possible way. Answering questions, he shamelessly adds unnecessary and inappropriate details (“If I got this ass, I'd be like DJ brbrbrbr”) purely to make his siblings grimace in disgust.
Jason is legally dead, and the dead, as a rule, don't have opinions. Red Hood, on the other hand, is very opinionated about poor sweet angel Jason Todd who died too young. And he expresses this opinion especially loudly and especially heartbreakingly, overusing the shit out of extensive literary knowledge, when Bruce and Dick nobody in particular is within earshot.
Tim has a public beef with Red Robin, because, actually, fuck that guy. He has started multiple twitter wars, spending hours making his two official accounts fight each other. He doesn't need to do that anymore, everyone already knows that these two hate each other's guts, but Tim still does it simply for the love of the game.
Damian is Robin's defender for life, even though he really wants to be a hater like his father. They just don't get him like Damian does. Because, alright, maybe Robin did steal these penguins from the public Zoo, but MAYBE that penguins were kept in terrible condition; have you even tried to use your cognitive abilities to consider it, moron?
Cass doesn't say anything about Orphan, when asked, just stares at people until they leave her alone. It doesn't feel right to lie to their faces, but she also can tell the truth because, well, her relationships with herself in any form are… complicated.
Steph is Spoilers biggest fan: she's obnoxious about it and will yap for hours, if someone dared to mention her alter ego in a sentence. She carries a napkin with her own signature in the pocket of every pair of her pants, and insists that the sweatshirt she's wearing right now (it's always a different sweatshirt) hasn't been washed in a month because Spoiler touched it.
Duke, being the OG gaslighter of the family, went an extra mile and created a dramatic, gut-wrenching backstory about him and Signal being best friends in their childhood but slowly drifting away, hunted by the different lifestyles and the burden of responsibility. And now when someone asks him about Signal, Duke makes a sad face and lets out a few sniffs, one time he legitimately cried, and since then reporters are too uncomfortable to ask him.

just take this
“barbara gordon getting paralyzed for the sake of bruce wayne’s development was misogynist, but oracle is a better mantle for her and she should still be a wheelchair user.” i say into the mic.
the crowd boos. i begin to walk off in shame, when a voice speaks.
“she’s right,” they say. everyone turns to the 5th row, but no one is there. then on the screen behind me: barbara gordon herself.

Batman v3 (2016) #100 [this is his first appearance, but it's very brief and not necessary to understand the character]
Batman v3 (2016) #102-105 [Ghost-Maker's introduction arc, very important]

The true reason why the Joker killed Jason wasn't because he wanted to hurt Batman or anything, it was because One Time, after Joker was caught and was being dragged away, Jason made Bruce laugh So Hard that he had to use Jim Gorgon as someone to lean on, that people Genuinely Thought that he had been dosed with Joker Venom until he calmed down
But nope, just a really good joke
And from that day on, The Joker hated the second Robin with a passion
