Riding on his pa'li, Jake Sully had found your infant form resting beneath a blanket of vines and thorns.

He was shocked to say the least, Because why did you have Horns? Jake debated on leaving you there in case you already had a mother.

But the more he stared into your amber eyes, A part of him wanted to just snatch you from the tangled flora and take you in as his own.

And that's exactly what he did, He returned to Hometree with you in his arms.

Upon your arrival the clan had all gathered around you two, Whispers and gasps among them.

At first Neytiri was Stubborn and disliked the idea of welcoming an outsider, infant or no. Especially when you weren't even the same species. She suspected you for awhile.

But as time went on she began to warm up to you, holding you and even putting you to sleep.

With her acceptance she encouraged Neteyam, Lo'ak, and Kiri to accept you too. Though it wasn't much of a problem as they got along with you quickly.

Weirdly when you started maturing, your back would constantly ache and you started sprouting Feathers from your shoulder blades while your horns increased in size.

Jake had you examined by the scientists there, And he was informed that this metamorphosis was a natural occurrence for your biology.

Overtime your wings grew larger in size and width, And soon you were soaring through the air in no time.

You taught yourself how to fly by mimicking mountain banshees and their wing patterns.

With these wings made you almost untouchable when wrestling with the others. Anytime Spider tried to catch you, You would immediately take to the air.

And when Lo'ak would try to tackle you, he would be sent back by the force of your wing.

If things couldn't get weirder you developed abilities. You could manipulate minor elements through your surroundings. And anytime you started using this ability golden light shimmered in your palms.

You usually used it to heal broken branches and in medicine with grandma mo'at, but you could never use too much of it, The consequences deadly they said. In truth they just didn't want you to draw attention.

These abilities started spiraling out of control after Tuktirys birth and didn't end there.

Anytime you felt Angry, Sad, Or Any heightened emotion the environment around began to change.

One time when you were in an argument with Lo'ak, You almost fractured his forearm when you sent him flying with a current of golden mist.

Because of this incident you were Forbidden to use any of your power at all, Not even a drop of it.

It was even proclaimed as dangerous, You were obviously upset about this, And didn't speak to your parents for a week

They were hurt by your silence but they knew they did what was best in their minds

Although Jake and Neytiri discouraged the idea of using your abilities, Mo'at encouraged you to embrace it.

You would create flowers and make undiscovered plant life bloom.

As days went by you became more of a mystery than before, but to them, Your Family, And you were a Sully & Sully's stick together.

Royal siren erasermic family? They like adopt you after you hatch from an egg bc they found you or something idk and take you back to the castle and make you their little princess or something cute and fluffy like that.

Shinso was just out and about, swimming through some forbidden areas he wasn’t supposed to be in, avoiding sharks, when he found an iridescent little ball under some rubble of a shipwreck, it made his gills tingle at the sweet aura that it emmited, he knew, that this creature, was something to protect. It was up until he saw something moving inside that he thought it was just some ancient treasure that would’ve died with this ship, he examined it closer, squinting his eyes, that’s when he realized, it was a Siren. A baby one at that, usually they hatched out of boring white eggs, the royal family’s were gold, but a shiny color changing white that combated the finest of jewels? Never, this little pip was special, he could feel it.

So he brought it back home, through his “balcony window”, debating wether or not he should tell his parents. As you know, he was somewhere where he was not supposed to be, and they would throw a fit. Then again, whatever this thing was, he couldn’t just keep it to himself, something was living inside it, and he wouldn’t know if something was wrong, so he has too. When he did, it came as a suprise that his parents weren’t mad, they jsut kindof stared at the orb, inhaling the addictive scent it gave off, the three huddled around it, aizawa carefully picking the Small thing up, it was only about the size of a pumpkin, extremely easy to pick up, yet he could still feel the heartbeat of a creature inside, it just had to be one of the sirenfolk , there isn’t any other explanation. He stared at it in confusion, noticing the small cracks staring to form.

Then a little hand popped through, and scared the shit out of all of them.

As it turned out, you were in fact a siren, a rare subtype of them, thought to have gone extinct long, long ago. The opal-looking scales that littered your arms and tail showed proof of it, this species were intensely more fragile, and weaker, that’s why they went extinct, as they couldn’t hear, and a small crabs pinch could cause major bone breaks, they were just too weak, yet so beautiful. That’s why they were coveted among the royal family. It only helped their growing obsession taht you were so cute.

It might’ve been an act of I’mpulse, but they just needed to have you as their own, of course, their word is law, so they could’ve just kept you, but they felt the need to make it official, they’d already had two pips, you’re just their third! It was simple, of course, you specific species could be born into sirenfolk families, it was just so rare that it had only happened once. You were just so cute, so fragile, just something so breakable, they just

To protect this tiny lil thing, it was instinctual to feel a protective pull over their little pups, and boy were they feeling that right now, you were special, not just any baby, but you were theirs. Their special little pup, nothing would ever lay a hand on you, ever. It had only be a few days, and word spreads through the underwater kingdom like a wave, from the servant maid who showed them how to take care of you, to the head maid, to a citizen, to the fisher, and eventually, by the end of the week, the whole kingdom was eagerly waiting to get a glimpse of their new princess.

And boy were they shocked to find out it was an opalite, the most rare of rare sirens in the world. Immediately after they had shown you to the world, sitting in a large clam as it was pulled by sharks, the citizens fell in love with you, maybe it was the fact that you were related to their beloved royals, maybe because the royal family would intensely glare at anyone who made negative comments, maybe it was the fact that a few of those people went missing, but who knows right?

You still hadn’t been able to open your eyes yet, and you won’t be able to hear them for a very long time, your hands were about the size of aizawas eye, and you looked closer to a fish than a human, as you hadn’t even developed your face yet, another plus to being the endangered species, note the sarcasm. And guess what? They found it so adorable, just their cute little baby, their little pup who can’t even protect themselves from the water around them. They just loved every part of your little body, from your tails, to your tiny little hands, to your shiny gills. It was all just so perfect- you were so perfect, and you were theirs, they were gonna protect you at all costs.

So of course they did, you were just so tiny right now, they knows practically anything could hurt you, so they opted to be around you all the time, only leaving to hunt for humans that would suffice for their tastes, drawling them in, determined because of that little smile of yours. You motivated them to do it, they were doing this for you. It have them all a sense of pride to have you feel safe with them, to rite them you. On their own terms.

Eri was constantly around you, being that she was a young one just like you, and you were her little sister! So she wanted to always be around while you made those echoing gurgling noises, or flapped your hands around in the water, she didn’t have responsibility in the kingdom yet, unless being cute is a job, so she can be with you jsut as much as she wants. Always sitting with you while you played with the floating pearls that they had arranged over your play area, watching you feel new things, holding you while you dozed off with adorable little bubbles, she always was with you.

Like now, she’s been with you all day, giving you little snacks, glaring at the guards at the door who always had their eyes on you… creeps. The sun was almost setting, and when you’re low down in the ocean it goes pitch black after a little while, and that’s when the jellyfish come out, tonight was one of the most special days out of the year in the northern oceans, the jellyfish festival, the one night a year when the rare white jellyfish would come out to say hi, leaving trails of shimmering sparkle behind them, painting the upper levels of the ocean a shiny silver. It just so happened that it occurred on your first birthday, a very small increment to sirens, as they live almost a billion years, but still a big accomplishment in their eyes. Look! Their little baby girl is turning one! How amazing!

“Do you see them hon? Look, they’re just starting to appear” Aizawa asked both you and eri calmly, swishing his hand through the salty water to pint at the new appearance of white and purple blobs, slowly flouncing their way overhead. Eri smiled up at it, her pointed teeth displayed in full view, her eyes shined at the view, not only of the huge jellyfish, but also at you, who was placed delicately in mics lap, sat up against his chest. Little bubbles escaped your mouth as you blew raspberries into the water, just making the family laugh.

“Mm-hmmm! Look! Look! How pretty! I wanna touch em! Can I touch em!” She yelled at her parents, excitedly pointing towards the jelly’s floating towards the surface, her hair floated behind her as she swished around, shinsho just chuckled, knowing that she eventually would try to touch them, and get zapped, again, like last year, and the year before, and the year before.

“No hon. Don’t do that to us again, you wanna wish your sister a happy birthday? She’s probably really exited!” Mic cheered, distracting his daughter from touching the jellyfish, yet again, meanwhile, you were happily bouncing up and down on his lap, enjoying the freedom of your arms, swishing them all over the place, grabbing the beads around your neck, jsut anything.

“But dad! Why not! It’s not like it’s hurt me or anything I’ll be fi-“ she begged, throwing her hands up in a small tempter tantrum, clearly forgetting her previous events of pain, and idiocy.

“No- nope no no, we aren’t doing this again, please honey, just please, remember last time, we had to clean up your wounds OUTSIDE-of water, you hate going to the surface remember? “

“Yeah but-“ she started speaking, but was soon cut off with a loud giggle, resonating through your lips, kindof rare for you, you hadn’t been very vocal outside of a few gurgles here and there, so it had each and every ones heads turning. That’s when they saw it, your beautiful eyes, shin sing in reflection to the jellyfish. Those beautiful little eyes of yours mesmerized all of them, a pitch black (for protection from the salt), with a shiny silver-like pupal, immediately after they opened, a burst of color filled your vision. You giggled and clapped your hands together with a small toothless smile, watching as the floaty creates went overhead, glittering with the light.

The absolutely gorgeous splash above was admired by the family form their own viewing post, the blues and whites combined to make a heavenly display. You could feel the cool sprinkles of light they emmited hitting your skin, smiling at the feeling, you splayed your hands out and flailed them against the water.

“Ohhhhhh- oh wow. Honey! Honey look! Her eyes opened! Look at taht! Aren’t you just so magical! Look at you, my little pup.” Mic smacked Aizawa over the chest multiple times, pointing at your clearly opened eyes, you just remained oblivious, staring up at all the new things around you, like.. everything! He turned you around to face him, letting you actually see his face for the first time, taking in the long yellow hair, the (also) black eyes, the ethereal face dotted with shiny yellow gills, him, you could see him!

“She’s developing smoothly, I’m glad. Awww, that’s pretty cute.” Aizawa replied to him, holding in his emotions, as soon as he met those new eyes of yours it’s like everything else disappeared, like the world itself didn’t exist, outside of him, and his fmaily. You took his breath away, or what you could call breath, so cute and innocent, such a small thing, that brings so much joy. Your little tail swished back and forth as you stared up at them happily, taking in the features of the people you’d learned to recognize by touch. Blowing raspberries out of your lips with a stream of bubbles.

PSA: I decided to combine this part and what would have been the third part, individually they would have been to short for my liking.

The room around her was a plain white made up of metal and plastic. The neon lights way too bright for her liking. She had become accustomed to the natural lighting of the forest, these bright lights were beginning to hurt her eyes. Quaritch had been in to see her a few times. She wasn’t sure how long she had been there, it could have been a day or it could have been a few hours. She hadn’t seen Spider, or heard him either and this troubled her. She wanted to ensure his safety, at least all the kids got out alive, she did what Neytiri asked of her. She kept the children safe, and at this point the only thing preventing her from fighting her way out of here or killing Quaritch on sight is that she didn’t know if Spider was safe. She had curled herself in the corner of the room in an attempt to have better control over her surroundings, she didn’t want to hide under a table that left her wide open to be pulled out. The wall wasn’t exactly the ideal spot, but it was better than the dammed table. Her knees were brought close to her chest, arms wrapped around her legs. She was lost, she didn’t know what she was supposed to do, but she wasn’t going to wait to be rescued. She had been humming softly to herself for a little while now, but that small comfort was ripped away from her as the doors to the room opened wide. and Quaritch’s large form stepped through the frame.

“Hello there sweetheart” she looked at him, but gave no response. She wouldn’t look away, she wouldn’t give him that advantage but she wouldn’t acknowledge him either. That was until he stepped closer, she jumped into a defensive stance, legs spread wide to balance her body low to the ground. She bared her teeth in a threatening snarl.

“Do not touch me, monster”

“That’s a bit harsh, don’t you think?” he stopped in his tracks and leaned one hand against the table. “I haven’t done anything ta ya”

“You stole everything from me, my sister, and now you have kidnapped me”

“I have taken ya. Yes, but I didn’t kill anyone.” The Na’vi women was confused, she stood slightly, despite both being full grown she only reached his shoulders in height.

“You happily admitted it earlier.” She stated, and she was right. Yet what she didn’t know was that from the moment the recom had become aware of his death he felt strange. Even more so when he saw it happen on a screen. Even though he had the full memories of Colonel Miles Quaritch, he knew deep inside he was not that man. It was confusing, this Na’vi body that he was in felt different than before, or at least from what he remembered, but the instant connection the body had felt to the forest had struck him, and forced him to question everything. He knew he couldn’t let his internal questioning interfere with his mission, but he had questions. The main one being, could he create a new life for himself outside of the shadow of the memories of the man he carried inside of his brain. Where that would lead him he didn’t know, but he had a sinking feeling only the kid and the sassy scientist in front of him could help him figure it out. “I am not the man ya knew” he continued.

“If you were different, you wouldn’t have held children at gunpoint.”

“Maybe, but I am not who ya think I am.”

“You are no different than the day you died.”

Turbulence

So I read a this baki soulmate thing and was like lemme do it but with more Yujiro HA. I loved theirs though it was so good but I wanted to do my own soulmate thing so yeah here's mineeeeeee 🕺🕺. Also gender neutral (y/n), they/them used .

In a world with billions of people how was it that the one person you were looking for has yet to been found. You often wondered if you would ever meet your soulmate, you often found yourself pulling on your red string often not enough to alert them but enough for it to move a little. There was once that tou tried to follow the string it didn't end well as you found yourself lost and tangled in it. Today was one of those days that you just wanted to touch your soulmate to feel that they were really there, with all the new couples coming about around you often you've been feeling hollow lost in that empty spot in your heart no doubt your soulmate would fill.

"(Y/n) my dear friend don't tell me your sulking again." Looking up you gave your friend a smile

"How have you and your soulmate been doing"

"There you go again changing the subject, tell me have you at least felt a pull?" You went back to your hollow self shaking your head no

"What a greedy person they are, fine if they won't do it then we'll just have to keep doing it ourselves" your friend huffed. Grabbing your hand she pulled all the way outside not listening to your protests.

"W-what if they don't like me or if they aren't even on the otherside, w-what if- what if it's..." Your friend looked at you almost offended at the things you were saying.

"There's no way your string could be black, I bet your soulmate is just stubborn, and how could anyone not like you, your so cute and a good looking person not to mention that body-" you clasped your hands over her smirking face, beat red at the things she was saying.

You're head still swirled at the possibility of the string being black on the other end, it happened often when one of the soulmates was dead. If you were to find out that your soulmate was indeed dead you wouldn't know what to do, you wouldn't be able to live with that fact if it were true.

"Let's try connecting, have you tried to connect with them before? I once did it with mine and it made it a little easier finding her."

"I feel like it's an invasion of privacy trying to find them like that." You're friend laughed out loud her laughter causing even the birds to stop chirping.

"Nonsense here try to focus on that string of yours, focus on them." You sat in the grass your friend giving you a thumbs up as you closed your eyes trying to focus on nothing but the string.

Connection activity is a simple way of finding your soulmate although it often depends on how far or how close emotionally you are to that person, you would be lying if you said you hadn't thought about doing it but you would often chicken out not wanting to bother your soulmate.

Focusing only on the feelings you had for this person you tried to connect yourself to them through the string, before you knew it you were no longer hearing your heart but someone else's. A distinct baritone voice came to your ears causing you to zero in on it.

"Not once have I thought about the other person on the otherside of this string, I think its a waste of time trying to find them." His words were cruel but for some reason you refused to cry instead anger filled your heart.

"I've had countless experience with people to know finding your soulmate is just a waste, with others to your disposal why wait on the person who you have to wait for." He laughed after that, whoever who was speaking to him scoffing but you refused to listen any longer breaking the connection.

Your friend looked at you hopefull but you just got up with an angry look. "So I'm a waste of time, can't wait for me after all this time I've taken out of my day to look for you, bastard I'll show you..." without hesitation you began to pull the string, tugging and pulling it until finally it became tight. Tears spilled from your eyes as you gave the string one big pull making your friend yell at you in the process.

"STOP (Y/N) CALM DOWN, WAIT-" you pulled and pulled until finally the string moved, you and your friend stared at your finger as your hand suddenly was pulled forward. Whoever this man was he was strong but he didn't pull again making you collapse to the floor and start to cry.

"H-he called me a waste. I knew it was a bad idea." Your friend wiped your face, pulling you to your feet she whispered words of comfort but it fell on deaf ears.

Yujiro not once in his life had ever felt his string move, at some point he had accepted that there was no person on the otherside of the string that was on his finger and so he felt there was no need to wait on a nonexistent person.

He had been speaking to Biscuit Olivia when the topic of HIS soulmate came up, he hated talking about it bitter by the fact there was noone even there. Even his own son, Baki found his before him just recently infact making him even more bitter about the matter.

"Not once have I thought about the other person on the otherside of this string, I think its a waste of time trying to find them." That was a lie, deep down he wanted to find them he wanted someone who would accept him, to really love him with his flaws and all.

"I've had countless experience with people to know finding your soulmate is just a waste, with others to your disposal why wait on the person who you have to wait for." Another lie he brushed this one off with a laugh making Baki scoff.

After a few more minutes of talking Yujiro felt a small tug on his finger looking down he saw the string no longer loosely laying on the floor under his feet but now pulling at his finger, his eyes blew wide causing the others to look his way. They watched as his hand wildly moved about his suprised look now grew to a one of irritation as he simply in one swift motion pulled his hand forward making sure to not put too much power into it, to his dismay the pulling stopped making him sigh.

"Seems to me they didn't like what you said" spoke Baki who received a glare from his father, Yujiro left right after not willing to entertain them any longer. He now had a new goal in mind.

After a day or so you've felt your string pull once in awhile, he was looking for you to respond but you've lost the energy to do so. Your friend had given you space but after the third day she got back to cheering you up.

"No more sulking my friend we must get your mind off of this here string of yours." You groaned as she snatched your blanket from you tired form.

"Lucky for you I've gotten tickets to an upcoming match being held in town" she jiggled the two tickets infront of your puffy face hoping it would do something, it did causing her smile to grow.

"Where'd you even get these?"

"My partner just so happens to be close friends with the old man who owns the arena, so she got us tickets to the match happening today-"

"TODAY!"

"Yes today which means we must get you cleaned up and presentable" grabbing your arm your friend dragged you into the bathroom she was set on making you look like you just dropped from heaven.

You found our later that day that the fight you would be seeing was Baki Hanma vs. Ali Jr. Maybe this fight would allow you to take out your anger, just then you felt a hard tug on your hand almost making you fall your friend stopped and looked at you struggle. You were once again pulled this bastard was trying to make you fall, anger rose in your heart once more and you pulled the string right back giving it a good tug he stopped pulling satisfied you assumed.

"How rude of him has he done it so hard before?" You shook your head

"No but never mind him let's go inside before our seats are taken.

Yujiro was in a better mood but he still wished his soulmate would answer to his tugging, he had been doing it for a good three days now and was growing annoyed at their silence. Taking in a breath he looked back to his son who was getting ready to fight Jr he was excited to see this how could he not be. Going into the ring he warned Jr of the type of man Baki is even adding that maybe sooner or later Baki would try to challenge him once more as he finished his son told him to move making Yujiro smirk. As he left he tugged on his string not realizing how hard he was pulling, as he got ready to hit the drum to start the match he could feel a small tug on his finger making him stutter a bit.

"Begin!"

You and your friend watched in awe at how fast the two fighters were you were in the third row seats just behind Ali Jr you felt bad for the guy he had already been knocked down. You and your friend winced as you heard Baki mock him as he was on the ground, as the rest of the crowd became silent you and your friend began to cheer getting the attention of not just the fighters.

"Let's go atleast show him what you got don't just lay there and die!" Said your friend, you stood up making some of the people behind you to complain.

"YOU CAN DO IT BUT IF YOU CANT AT LEAST TRY, BE PREPARED TO SURVIVE!!!" All of a sudden you felt a tug on your hand once more, one after the other almost making you fall the people around you began to ask if you were okay you felt overwhelmed.

"No im okay it's just my soulmate" you said with a blush on your face you tugged the string hoping he would stop but instead he began to pull harder making you leave your seat.

"He's gone mad!" Your friend held onto your other hand so you wouldn't be pulled away but she ended up coming down with you.

"Dammit this guy is strong, (y/n)!!" In order to keep up with it you had to get up and walk with it, looking over to the arena you could see Baki putting Jr in a choke hold he was stopped by the legend himself Muhammad Ali. You were tugged once again making you loose focus on the match, following the string once more you could see a big man on the stairs, you looked back to your friend who gave you a worried look.

"(Y/n) that's The Orge!" Your eyes blew up wide as the two of you made eye contact, it felt as if it was just you and him there was no doubt about it he was your soulmate. Although it was only for a moment it felt like ages but as quickly as the two of you looked at one another just as fast he looked away.

You didn't know how to feel about the revelation the strongest creature in the world was your soulmate this whole time, no wonder he found finding his soulmate a waste no wonder he found it a burden because for him it really was. You couldn't help the tears that fell from your eyes, without warning you turned back around and began to walk back just as he was going back into the arena, but with one good tug that had your friend screaming you were pulled into the air for a moment your heart stopped your eyes only focusing on the lights above. You waited for the hard ground to crash into your back but it never came no only the warm embrace of hands as they caught you.

"I didn't say you could leave, you're coming with me." You looked up to see the red mane of hair you now associated with your soulmate looking down a little you caught his eye and his smile. Looking away from him you could see that you were in the arena and looking just a bit over you could see Baki and everyone else in the arena looking back at you with widened eyes. They were not expecting to see anyone just fly into Yujiro's arms.

You squirmed and pulled trying to leave his arms but his grip on you was like steel you huffed. Looking up at him with an angry expression.

"Why so sudden, why couldn't you have met me before, I remember you saying that I was nothing but a waste a burden! Don't act so happy now when three days ago you didn't even want me to exist!"

All of the pain and anger you have felt for the past years without him came crashing on you at once, you've finally found him and just as you thought you've completely fallen in love he was gorgeous and not mention strong with a sexy voice too, he was a whole catch something fate seemed to have molded by hand but that was exactly the problem why would he ever want someone like you.

The arena was silent the only thing really heard was your sobbing, but then running feet followed making you look over your partners shoulders, it was your friend.

"(Y/n) are you okay?!" She didn't seem to care about the monster holding you which made your cry some more.

"N-no I'm fine just overwhelmed." To his suprise and to your friends you held on to the man that you've hated for the last three days, you wanted to be near him after all what if this really was going to be your one and only chance to do this.

"My friend here has been looking for you, every chance they got they would try and do so." Your friend spoke you knew she was talking to the big man that was still holding you.

"Mr. Hanma your selfish. I may not know you but I can safely say it, maybe your worse than selfish but I know for a fact all the way down to the T that the person you have in your arms right now will love you even through all of your negatives, they'll be there even if they have to be dragged away." You felt a hand move up and down your back as you held onto his neck, the hand was quite large making you believe that it was his.

"Hm then I'll just have to make sure they won't leave." You held onto him tighter his words filled your heart with joy, he was keeping you.

"Take me to dinner first and maybe I'll think about staying" it was a joke everyone knew that you would be staying even if he didn't do so but it was good to joke even just a little, he chuckled at it.

"Then it's a date! (Y/n) I'll be seeing you!" You looked back to your friend and waved at her but before you knew it you were being carried out the arena and out of the building entirely.

In a world with billions upon billions of people you often wondered when you would find the one person you had been searching for, well here he was holding you in his arms not daring to let you go. Never in your life have you felt so light so alive, him being with you was like a high one you wouldn't be sobering up from for a good while.
