Literally…one, out of context, Gerry Conway written page (nearly an entire year later) has demonstrated more though provoking introspection on Peter’s part over the Superior arc and more depth to his character than the entire run of Superior or sixteen issues of Amazing thereafter.

And it was not played as a handwaved side gag as has been the case in other issues.

One page by a guy who hasn’t written Spider-Man in like 20 years is better than almost everything from the passed…what? Year? Five years? Eight years?

Sigh
