i think in so many ways you could pull sam out of the context of supernatural the show and he’s just the most boring generic insufferable white man (goes on runs, eats healthy, likes reading and podcasts, made going to a pretentious college part of his personality when he didn’t even graduate, etc) and like he is. he is! but he was also chosen by celestial forces to bring about the end times and rule over hell and became the first and only case of substance use disorder for demon blood. this is a man who was born to mansplain nutrition supplements to his fellow city bus riders but is forced to choose between heaven and hell when they’ve already tried to decide for him. and i just think that’s funny
SPN that exists in my brain:
Season 1: did Dean kill John?
Season 2: how does Sam feel about that?
Season 3: did Cas kill Chuck?
Season 4: how does Dean feel about that?
Season 5: gay cowboy stuff? Or more of whatever 5.14 was idk
I love u season 1
Every episode of Supernatural they ask, "How will we defeat this new and unique monster?" and the answer is "shoot them with guns," mostly.
The biggest “your experiences are not universal” thing I feel is whenever anyone talks about the universality of girls planning their weddings since childhood because. Well. Not me. God bless

Rewatching SPN because my mind is on a downward spiral into something probably unhealthy, and I've decided to make it go faster
To do checklist but the only item on it is swim and then eat a sandwich. Yes please 👍
