"Wholecloth" in this case means that she started with one piece of mottled teal fabric and all color and definition in the finished piece comes from thread quilted atop.

Have been wanting to make an arcade claw machine for a while now and finally got around to do it. and I love the retro pastel sci fi vibe. I might make a little series of themed claw machines if anyone is interested and/or have ideas. But no promises! 👀
