i think they should reboot popee the performer and keep the uncanny valley cheap cgi it definitely adds something

consider: kit but he's a hyena.

making him a different animal altogether was really the breakthrough I needed to imagine kit in this reboot universe of mine. I want this version of kit to be way more complex than the original where he does lack flaws and depth a little, so I went with a traditionally misunderstood animal. this kit is torn between worlds, between the sky pirates that essentially raised him and baloo & co who show him unconditional love and a happy life. and he is chock full of trauma and insecurities, and I think a hyena can really represent this "nobody understands me" feeling he gets. plus, they look edgy and I do want him to have a real edge.
