consider: kit but he's a hyena.
making him a different animal altogether was really the breakthrough I needed to imagine kit in this reboot universe of mine. I want this version of kit to be way more complex than the original where he does lack flaws and depth a little, so I went with a traditionally misunderstood animal. this kit is torn between worlds, between the sky pirates that essentially raised him and baloo & co who show him unconditional love and a happy life. and he is chock full of trauma and insecurities, and I think a hyena can really represent this "nobody understands me" feeling he gets. plus, they look edgy and I do want him to have a real edge.
not the finalised design yet, but just wanted to throw it out there
I love how the plot of the Little Golden Book "The Ghost Ship" is "Don Karnage accidentally puts an end to Louie scamming people"
I drew transfem Ricky (who goes by Savannah) one time and now I’m obsessed w/her. My personal hc is that’s they’re a demigirl and use she/they pronouns (also a bunch of neos)
She still has Zolar though 🫶
Noel is the first person they came out to and he gave them his Monique dress bc he is the no.1 trans ally
That’s all folks thx for watching me ramble ab my baby girl <3
Hii! Can I get a mia icon with a demigirl flag???
hey friend! thank you so much for being my first non-stimboard/moodboard request! i’m sorry of this looks wonky, feel free to send in a request asking for a re-do if you find this isn’t to your liking! /gen

One thing I don't see many people talk about is how purely empathetic Simon is. Specifically in episode 6.
Out of everyone- including the ghosts who have known her for decades- Simon is the one who saw Janet's humanity. He just... Talked to her. Sympathized with her and treated her like a person. He made her- and us as the audience- see that she wasn't a bad person, just someone who made mistakes and needed help getting on the right path.
His ability to connect with her this way when no one else could was beautiful to watch in real time. Simon Elroy, the man you are
