this is actually a very accurate description about my life and the whole ukraine rn

Life in Kyiv now...

36 to 38 degrees Celsius every day for weeks now, with power outages meaning we have power for two hours and then don't have it for up to seven hours. Food can't be kept in the fridge, so you have to buy/cook food for one meal at a time. I have an electric stove, so the logistics of that are even more complicated.

I live on the 13th floor, as a fun additional detail.

It's impossible to sleep at nights, berely possible to breathe during the day.

bc yk you really just can't sleep bc of the temperature and there's NOTHING you can do about that bc you don't have any electricity AT ALL the only thing that saves me is that I sleep in the basement + protection + cold sleeping next to a drum kit makes you feel like a musician from the 60s when they had no money but on the drum kit fr and my poor dog and cats omg even wild birds now drink from my dog's bowl
