like a good person, I was reading ch 2 of @a-sad-mage's "Champions of the West"

and now I have a new HC. Not a super real one, more of a crack one, but hear me out.

the Slugterra fandom wiki. Far better than the "official" one, but still, has its flaws. Most info is old, some pages have very little/wrong info, it doesn't make clear where the info comes from (the show vs the games), and the biggest pages come from the content regarding the first ten episodes of the show.

now, idk who the editors are irl. But hey, you know what's an in-universe explanation?!?

no, really. He had more down-time right at the beginning of the show. He was fascinated w Slugterra and maybe he thought writing everything he learned down somewhere would help him remember it all. But the plot kicked in and he had less time, so now most pages are short and to the point - and only written in Eli's perspective, not some historian, so some stuff is misleading or wrong. And he mainly used it before A Distant Shore - afterwards, he could just ask his friends if he forgot something. But it's still fun to update, so for anything big enough, he added a little bit to the archive. Eli Shane is the editor, of course he is!!!!! It makes SENSE!

okay, now w this headcanon, it's time to reread Eli's page, something tells me this is gonna be fun

Are There Limits/Rules?

ALL gifts MUST be safe for work. This means no sexually explicit, overly suggestive, or gorey material. Ships, angst, and minor injuries are allowed, but nothing extreme.

Please provide 3 prompts for your gifter so they have something to choose from. To make things easier for your gifter, who may not thrive with ships or original characters, only one prompt can include original character(s) and only one prompt can continue a ship(s). That way, if there's something they may not be comfortable with or not confident with, nobody's worrying. This is meant to be fun, not extra stress around the holidays!

If your prompt requires a reference (like an original character reference), there will be a space to attach or link references.

truth is, I'm a Mets fan, and while thats not a big deal usually, this week has been a goddamn MOVIE PLOTLINE and all my free time has been devoted to keeping up with 2024 Met Lore.

for example: few days ago Pete Alonso and his wife went pumpkin picking and he brought a "lucky pumpkin" with him for the game that evening and he gushed about it being like a baseball in an interview.

Now for my question: When Dr. Blakk was defeated where did all the other villains go? Not once did I see twist, C.C, John Bull or Blakks other goons after that. What exactly do you think happened?

P.s I keep hearing that we might get slugterra back, but no confirmation yet if it true or not.

I think, in the final battle of s2, Blakk didn't care for them anymore, since dark bane are super powerful - they'd be more useful as cavern enforcers, probably, and we're off-screen being evil that way. after the battle -depends. Cc comes from a rich family and was known as a sport slugslinger - he might've gone back to that, he might be laying low to go back to that in a few years. This is probably true for most of the jock lackeys actually - shooting sports has always been a sport for either the really desperate trying to protect ppl, OR the super wealthy who like wearing thousands of dollars of gear to show off. Twist is...well, I explore it in ch2 (already deep into it), but essentially, it comes down to if he's redeemed, and when. Maybe he wasn't at the citadel but super loyal. Maybe he planned to rh. After master shanais murder. Or maybe he went back to underground foolery, as he did pre-the new kid, I associated w Blakk but still in organized crime. What is certain is that, after s2, twist had been publically for Blakk, like Maurice - both of them would need ALOT of help branching out of the underground due to their reputations. So they'd stay there... unless some fanfic writer used their unclear future as a way to breach the plot hole of how the goon got into the deep caverns..............stay tuned for ch2

And Imma be so real - I'm not holding hope for them coming back. Nerd corps is gone, and I couldn't watch ascension - not because of the animation, because it did something slugterras never done - go with the boring plot line. Like really, no kord or pronto, delving into slug biology instead of EVERYTHING ELSE, and bringing back blakk for a NOT good reason? It strips the heart of the original show. It would take a lot of money and good intentions to continue the show decently, and god help me, this shows been so LUCKY with not having any contradictory lore - get the wrong writers, and it'll break like a cheap pencil. So it could come back...but I'll be building up my ao3 regardless. I'll take the Slugterra canon into my own hands, and keep it alive through my fun obsession with it, side by side w all my homies online who wanna do the same :)
