Listen guys. A friend of the families husband just died. He was 34, had no history of problems and just suddenly had a heart attack. They weren’t prepared to pay for a funeral for any of them because, well.. Why would they be? Please donate and/or share this. Please. They were high school sweethearts and the daughter is only 14. The mothers name is Allie, and the daughter is Nora. His name was Dan. They just want to be able to bury someone they loved. This JUST happened, yesterday Nov. 30th 2015, so they aren’t even prepared to set up the gofundme, but me and a few of her high school friends have been pretty diligent in helping her get this all stuff set up. In 1982, she became the first African-American woman elected to the Florida Senate. Meek later served in the United States Congress (1992-2001). Prior to her career in politics, she taught at Bethune-Cookman College in Daytona Beach and Florida A&M University in Tallahassee.
